Right on the beach off highway 6 and around the bend from the Pancake Rocks and Cave attractions. Room was clean and had bed and separate sitting area. Wi-Fi for us was spotty at times. Nearest restaurant down the road about 400 m where you also check-in. We thought room was fine for a night’s stay.

The cabin was brilliant. Spacious, clean. Location was 20 second walk to the shore, which had some picnic tables to enjoy the sunset. Highly recommend. Only note... check-in is at a pub/restaurant down the street.

Lovely room with small kitchen (which we did not use). Great location. Small bed for 2 persons, but there was a small single that my wife used. Shower was okay. Short walk to a nice restaurant and bar with a great vibe. A little confusing with address, because you have to check-in at the above mentioned restaurant.

Perfect stop along the west coast

Loved this place. Perfect overnight spot traveling along the west coast and right next to the Pancake Rocks and Blowholes. Cottages were comfortable and spacious and well equipped and sunset views on the beach were unbeatable. We enjoyed the restaurant bar and David and staff were wonderful. Highly recommend.

In this area, this is the only motel but even then the owners have made an excellent effort to have modern and comfortable room. A few steps from the seashore, the views are million dollar views. After dinner sunset on the beach just a few steps from the property was just amazing. Room was very comfortable. Highly recommend it.

Tasteful and very homelike in it's decor. Thoughtful touches including heaters, blankets and electric blankets added to how lovely the property was. Set in incredible scenery nestled between the beach and massive rock formations. Great coffee at the pub 2 min drive. Close to Punakaiki cavern and pancake rock. Disappointed to not stay longer

We were given an upgrade at no extra charge meaning we had very spacious accommodation. The unit we stayed in for 3 days was the unit for persons with disabilities and we found this very easy to use. The only down side was the sofa (pull out bed) was uncomfortable to sit on and was the only lounge seating.

Great location. This property has so much potential. We found it could do with a good clean. The kitchen utensils/plates and cups were dirty. Checkin was confusing. You had to check in at the pub up the road.

A disappointing stay

We stayed for one night in a studio. Whilst the unit had most of the things you would need and was clean, it appeared very tired and dated. The WiFi connection was virtually non existent, which meant that we couldn't actually watch the smart TV. Staff warned us about this at check in, so one has to ask why nothing has been done about it. We would certainly not stay there again.

Really nice place to stay, so close to the waves. Only thing that was a little off putting was the room smelt a bit damp when I walked in. Understandable in the West Coast environment. Got use to it, but every time I walked in after being outside you would smell it again. Might be good to air the rooms out before guests arrive perhaps . Otherwise great

Property is on the beach. Fabulous walks along the roaring ocean Staff, particularly the lady in charge of the units was not friendly or willing to be helpful. Our unit had one wine glass, one small glass, and one large glass. Clearly short on utensils. When we asked to have this corrected she said hopefully staff will fix it tomorrow!!! Not happy with lackadaisical attitude toward customer service.

Went to get milk for the coffee and found it was opened sometime ago. Should have been new not a half used one. Shower didn’t drain so the bathroom flooded. I did tell the staff and they seemed receptive to me telling them. Just average but good value for money
