The location was ideal so that we could travel up to China peak and the near by sno parks. The cabin we had was fine. There wasn't anything extraordinary about it. Unfortunately the WIFI was out of reach and we had some spotty network connection. I could bot figure out the TV guide in the living but our bedroom TV worked fine. They have movie to rent for your stay but make sure to bring your own since they have a limited selection. The office hours were limited during my stay ( we stayed during Friday, Saturday, and checked out on Sunday). The fireplace could not be used and ghere was no free breakfast. Overall, I would book this place again for the location and if they have a deal on their rooms. Thank you for your time.

The property did not have our room ready 45 minutes after check in. They said they would call when it was ready because they were severely understaffed. They called me over 3 hours after check in to ask if i was going to check in. I told them they said they would call me when it was ready and I never received a call. The worker then told me she had forgotten to call me and the room was ready. When we got in the room at 8pm there were cleaning supplies, plugged in vacuum and chairs in the middle of the room.

Check in time is 4pm. Came at 3:45pm just to check lady says come back at 4:45 thats when the room will be ready, it wasnt clean yet she said. I com back at 5pm and its still not ready. She tell me 30mins but cleaning lady told her 40 min. So i waited till 5:40 went back in and front desk lady had to go clean the room as it was still not clean. So i am waisting gas waiting all this time. My kids are cold and wet from being in the snow and we were made to wait almost 2 hours before we can step foot in our room. This was id say one of the worse experiences ive ever had at a hotel. Lady at the front desk said she is offering me a discount but her manager needs to approve it first. Id like to be refunded my stay as this could have caused hypothermia to my kids from having to wait so long. This is super unacceptable and should be adressed immediately. Oh yeah and there was no continental breakfast like stated on my itinerary. Overall horiibke experience will likely not stay again.

Advertise with continental breakfast but they didn’t offer. TV remote didn’t work which they knew but provided Roku which you had to download remote from phone with WiFi which was mostly non existent. Charged a security deposit which didn’t advertise.

To start there fire place was broken and it was a cold night then the couch woods were falling apart then had to have maintenance fix the heater cause that didn’t work still didn’t work the whole time then they were drilling and installing new equipment at 9 at night when we were trying to relax and watch tv plus internet was not good kept losing connection then tried to call and complain but would only get voicemail

I will start with the good things - the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. Also, the staff was nice when they were present. And they co-own the restaurant across the street, Aroma, where the food was really good. The room is cozy, the heater works, and the fridge and microwave could be helpful. So some good things. But this hotel is much more like a Motel 6 than we expected. If we were expecting a Motel 6, we wouldn't have been so disappointed, but we were expecting a cozy, quiet, mountain lodge. The noise from the road, the security lights glaring through the blinds, and the rattling all night of some sort of generator or fan in the attic above us made sleeping challenging. There is a small table in the room with two metal chairs, making it extremely uncomfortable to use the table or to sit really anywhere in the room. There was also an extremely loud group that was disruptive all night and into the morning in one of the rooms, about which the staff did nothing, and another guest did complain. When we spoke to the morning staff, that person said she would have asked those folks to leave and offered us all a 10% discount on our next stay. Which was hardly comforting. I don't like to leave bad reviews. I really don't. Everyone is just trying their best. But this establishment was in no way what we expected. For what it was, I would expect a much lower price point on the room and, if we had known what it actually is, we would not have stayed there.

Lovely stay

The staff is amazing! The room is very clean and so convenient with having a kitchen and door to the back with fire pit. This is our family’s 3rd time staying at this lodge and will continue to keep booking here for future trips.

Perfect Family Lake Trip

This place was great! The Ski Suite was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. The location is super convenient to get to the lake and to our favorite restaurants in town. It is next door to the grocery store for anything you need. We loved hiking around the grounds to explore in the woods, climb on rocks, and gather firewood. We relaxed by the fire pits every night with hotdogs and s’mores. We are looking forward to coming back soon.
