Warm welcome from Crystal on reception. Room had great view of the sea with wrap around balcony. Bed was comfortable, the room was clean with fridge and tea and coffee facility. Only criticism was there was an overpowering smell of bleach. Ate at the veranda restaurant. Food was slow in coming but was good. Overall hotel could do with a little upgrade. We had great service so tops marks. Would consider a stay again.

The staff was exceptional. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Rooms were clean and cool. Rum Punch was a favorite. The house keeping went above and beyond for our anniversary with swan folded towels and flowers with hearts on our bed, complimentary drinks and wine with dinner! Taxi arrangement to and from by staff was a big plus. Would recommend this lovely hotel to all!

These people have gone beyond my expectations of staying at a hotel. My sister is going through some medical issues which I had informed them about. They have gone above and beyond to make my vacation pleasant. They provided security at her door to make her safe. The staff in all areas were there for us . They were so pleasant, professional and accommodating to us. I met the boss on several occasions, very pleasant and understanding.

Stayed here for 6 nights as a solo female traveler. Very safe part of the island overlooking young island. Had a friendly relaxed feel about the place. The reception team were extremely helpful and professional. Restaurant was reasonably priced and food good. My only moan was not having fresh bananas for 5 days, no conch and no yoghurt…?! Smoothies were excellent and so was the fish Roti. Room was huge with very comfortable huge bed. AC worked a dream. Bathroom/ Shower was average but I made do. Sadly the pool was closed for 4 days - but we were able to use you’ve island instead. Ferry man over to young island was rude on a daily basis. Upmarket resort yet the rudest staff on the island! I would definitely stay at The Mariners again but avoid their sister hotel Young Island - 5 star prices in a 3 star setting. Mariners - keep up the good work :)

Clean rooms. The pool was pleasant. The restaurant on site is convenient, but you should explore the other options up the boardwalk. I would stay here again.

The staff was superb very helpful and friendly. The propert was dated and need some upkeep. Food service was slow and their were items on the nenu that was not available for breakfast both morning ms that I ordered.

If you're staying here, be aware that there are several bladders and nightclubs near the hotel that pump music until early hours in the morning, especially on the weekends. I stay on a Saturday and a Sunday and loud music didn't let me sleep until 5:00 a.m the next day

Good - Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Restaurant food was very good. Room we were moved to was modern and decent. Not so good- Restaurant staff were slow to take orders and forgetful with what was ordered. 3 days in a row asked for something on the menu but they didnt have it. Intial room we chose was so dated, old furniture, grey dry towels bathroom grubby, on inspecting the bed, I found a variety of hairs on the mattress protector with stains. Could not unpack! The only great thing about the room was the beautiful sea view, but I could not stay in that room, it would have been way out of my comfort zone. It was like a 2 star motel!! We were upgraded, at pur expense but with a discount, and the standard was more like what was expected. Clean, fluffy white towels, modern bathroom, however there was no space as the room was crammed with 2 large beds. The front door opened directly facing the the main road, so when a drink was brought to us from the bar and we opened the door with our nightclothes on, there were people waiting at the bus stop and traffic going by that ciuld see us and into the room. A screen could easily solve that problem. The balcony could not be enjoyed as it overlooked the reception area and entrance to the bar/restaurant, with cars, taxi's and deliveries stopping and passing constantly. If all the rooms were upgraded and configured better with privacy and a decent view, then i would consider revisiting. Other than that, not worth the

My check in experience was very good. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Buildings look old and worn. Room was clean and had a nice smell.
