Perfect Location!
This is a really cool hotel! I’d definitely stay here again if I come back to Philly. You need a key to activate the front door after dark & elevator so the building is secure. Someone was always at the front desk when we walked in which was nice. We had a 1br apartment & absolutely loved it. If you’re visiting Philly to bar hop, eat & sightsee this is the place for you! We didn’t need transportation because most things are walking distance.

Beautiful private hotel
We came in for one night, the staff were so helpful and friendly, the room was gorgeous and spacious. It felt like a private hotel. We will definitely be returning when we come back to the city!!

Very convenient location in midtown near City Hall and Love Park and within walking distance of subway, shopping, attractions and dining. The room was very large, clean, comfortable and felt safe. The front desk people were nice and helpful. The room had a kitchenette with full sized fridge and a desk area separate from the bedroom space. We would definitely stay here again.

An Unexpected Surprise
ROOST Philadelphia is absolutely worth considering if you're looking to stay downtown. A block from City Hall makes the ROOST centrally located. The room itself was spacious, clean, and inviting. It had a very home-y feel to it. I would absolutely stay there again.

What a delightful experience!! This is such a good idea for a hotel- two floors of a high end apartment building where they’ve turned units into beautifully designed hotel rooms with tons of space and all the amenities you would need for a longer stay. I only stayed overnight but loved the coffee setup to make a chemex complete with grinder and scale. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom had lovely Le Labo products. There’s also a gym and big lounge space which was a great option for working before checking in at 4pm. Front desk staff was also super friendly and had great advice about the neighborhood. Would absolutely stay here again but for longer next time!

Violation of cancellation policy
Hotels.com violated their cancellation policy and has not been responsive in terms of any customer service. I should have been charged a total of 50% of my total stay but instead have been charged for the full amount. I’ve also tried to work directly with the property with no success. This is enough to make me never use hotels.com again and also never to book with ROOST either.
