This is a very nice hotel for value-minded travelers. While on a road trip, we expect a clean, comfortable room with a good bed, and functional bathroom and a location reasonably close to restaurants and if possible, in an area to enjoy a decent stroll. The Jeffrey met each of these expectations. We’d be glad to stay there again should we again find ourselves in S. Lake Tahoe for a night or two.

I really wanted to give this property a 5 star but because of the shower which wasn’t made properly during the last renovation. The water isn’t directed towards the drain and leaks towards the room (may want to consider schluter systems next time). Also, the sheets were cleaned but they were stained. I mean,bodily fluid stained. There are ways to remove stains by using various products. The office closed early so I was able to report it. Overall, it was easy to check in and out and it was a clean quiet place to stay.

Brilliant room. Good location. Check in process is all on the phone / Whatsapp and had to read out my credit card info to the person. That doesn't feel right giving out that info. These guys need to do better in this age of digital money.

Easy parking, was placed in first floor, had toaster and other dining essentials and shower was strong. Very clean and comfortable beds. We also got extra towels already on hand. Did not have to ask for extra. Was able to check in and out 2hrs early so was really good we were able to rest a bit before going out again.

This is a totally digital accomodation, which made me nervous. The Jeffrey knows how to get it right. They responded to any and all questions within seconds and they had staff onsite to assist if needed. It was nicely decorated and had an in room fireplace. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return if /when I am in the area.

The Jeffrey Hotel is a motel located conveniently to the main street in South Tahoe. Check in for the property is done online and there are no staff on the property. The first night put a bad taste in my mouth as I was awoken at 1145pm to a voicemail on my phone that I was the cause of a noise complaint. In the voicemail I was told that the property had the right to ask me to leave and that they could keep my security deposit if I didn't respect quiet hours. This phone call was in addition to 3 text messages and 6 emails, all of which I didnt see until the phone call woke me up, as I was sleeping. It took multiple emails from me inquiring about the noise complaint and the process of which they follow up on these complaints fo recieve a very vague response. As they do not have staff on site, how do they determine who to reach out to about complaints. I obviously could not have been causing a noise disturbance worth reporting while sleeping. This and the threat to keep my deposit didn't sit well with me. Additionally, I found blood on our blanket the last night of our stay. Knowing I had been sleeping with that for a couple days is pretty disgusting.

Nice, but
The hotel is very convenient and the room was immaculately clean. The bed is just okay. The toilet paper is dreadful. The check-in system is convoluted and took us multiple phones calls, emails and texts to complete.

I love my stay. Rooms newer, with great linens and cleanliness. Close to shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking. The only downside no exhaust in the bathroom so had to open windows after shower. Another downside is AC is loud. Upstair guests walked like godzilla, otherwise great stay.
