We love everything about this place. First, the room is spectacular. We had reserved a villa in the Nayara Springs section, but were upgraded to the Nayara Tented Camp section. From what I can see, the rooms are very similar, but the tented camp rooms are a bit larger. While technically tents, they are permanent structures, with regular air conditioning, plumbing, etc. Each “tent” has its own hot-spring-fed swimming pool and a large patio with hammock and double-wide chaise lounge, both indoor and outdoor showers, and a claw-foot soaking tub. Each tent is extremely private and surrounded by lush tropical plants. You feel like you are completely alone in the jungle, but you have all of the comforts of home. There is a free minibar which is restocked daily, free laundry service, and free breakfast included. The food here is absolutely delicious, and includes local dishes as well as international foods. The facilities are amazing, but the staff are what really make this place shine. They are so kind, and really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and stress-free. The spa services are top-notch, and the day tours/activities are well-planned and personalized. Our guide for our first tour, Yahaira, was amazing. She spotted so many animals that we never would have seen, and she even taught us a thing or two about how to take the best photos with our iPhones. When our daughter unexpectedly joined us on our trip, Steven and others at the reception desk very quickly jumped
