Don’t book this one !

Bad experience ! First night the heater was not working but the supervisor just gave us a portable heater which is noisy and bothering us all night . Luckily the next day we asked them to give us a new room otherwise it would be a disastor . Room cleaning is ridiculously every three days . We asked them to do room cleaning the second day morning but when we returned to hotel around evening , the room was not done cleaning at all . What’s worse is that the supervisor gave us a lame excuse , saying that’s not their business but the cleaning company . Really bad and unacceptable attitude to the customers . Totally we do not recommend this one and we believe there are way more better hotels worthy of booking in Edinburgh .

Very good basic accommodation and excellent location, however wifi was poor to non existent and room fitting fell short - no where to put clothes apart from a few hangers and space around the double bed was very tight. Accordingly, in my opinion over priced!

A localização é ótima... o airbus para exatamente na porta do hotel. O castelo está ha aproximadamente 15 min andando e o centro aproximadamente 25 minutos. O quarto é pequeno mas tem um tamanho ok. O banheiro é bem pequeno também mas o chuveiro é otimo. A única coisa que deixa um pouso a desejar é a limpeza. Tinha um fio de cabelo de outro hospede no box do banheiro. O hall do hotel é de carpete. Não tem muito como limpar.

I found the location of the hotel perfect for transport to and from the airport and the centre. The airport bus stop is practically outside the hotel entrance. At the back there is a private car park with hefty charges. Useful but not cheap. Room was small but functional and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Shower room was compact but good. We chose not to have breakfast at the hotel because the fixed price made it expensive for the type of breakfast we have.

Hotel seems to be nice and managed. Staff was nice and polite. Room was really small but that we knew. It was clean, but not perfectly clean. Mess under the bed, dust and few hairs in the bathroom (the usual). Which was really bad was the noise in the room. The room wasn’t isolated very well and you could hear most of the noises, specially when somebody was leaving and hit the door. Window to the room wasn’t in good condition and even when it was closed you felt breeze and cold air. Heating/air condition was set to 19* but it wasn’t really working properly. Next thing were pillows. The have only two pillows. One tough as rock another one bit softer but still tough. So I slept without it. Overal it wasn’t really pleasant stay. I would recommend it. Only nice was the place where it is, close to center and on the bus stop form airport.

Great location , near so many restaurants and cafes and only a short walk from the tourist attractions. Really friendly staff. Lovely room on the top floor. Only issue was the noise

The door would not open all the way because it hit the bed. Room is so tiny but the staff was super helpful. This hotel was walking distance to the royal mile and the castle so worth the puny room size.

Fikk rom uten vindu første natt, nytt rom etter det - men også det veldig trangt. Mye støy, både fra trafikk og andre rom. Hotellet kompenserte med gratis frokost.

Terrible and overpriced hotel. I was given a room without a window (!) a first for me in decades of travel, and that too for a four night stay. The rooms were extremely lacking in sound insulation, I could hear people marching up and down the corridor and opening and closing their doors all through the night. Even worse, for two nights, teenagers managed to sneak in and pull the fire alarm in the middle of the night! The floors of the rooms were not properly cleaned either. Overall a horrible experience!
