The Little Something hotel was delightful. From my check in to check out, my stay was awesome. All staff were polite and helpful. Touches like umbrellas to use at front door to housekeeping, were appreciated. I loved the location. I initially chose to stay in order to be able to walk to Pier 17, however I enjoyed walking around and the downtown area was quiet and peaceful. I am in NYC about 2-3 times per year, so I know a little bit about hotel quality. Kudos!

Cute extremely small hotel room but very cozy and comfortable. Restaurants and juice bars nearby. Walking distance to several attractions . It was great. And no carpet on the floors, which is my preference.

Great FiDi location but pricey and working through the startup kinks. Staff were uniformly great. Room was small. The gym is fairly huge — but was not cleaned well when I used it and no towels provided. Breakfast bar staff were sweet but there wasn’t any espresso today…if the price comes down I may stay again (2K++ for 4 nights this week)

Customer service was excellent. Seemed like a surge of folks checking in so they needed 2ppl in a small not designed to house 2. Which may need work, upgrade. Room was ready minus a remote, but resolved in a jiff. Check was easy peasy since I checked out early. They secured my back and retrieved quickly. All staff that I interacted with were very helpful. Could visits again. Few thing that were helpful, umbrellas out front on the day it rained, maybe a few more would be helpful. Overall excellent service. Thank you!

I wanted to like the hotel until I spoke to the rude and unprofessional hotel manager. Unbelievable that she didnt do her job in returning a guest message in the first place. I had a unknown charge and none of the hotel employees could tell me what it was for. Then when I finally got the manager on the phone, instead of acknowledging the delay in communication, she yelled at me and said it wasnt her problem that her staff didnt give her my messages. This hotel needs to replace their management.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and most of the staff were wonderful. Miguel at the bar was excellent, and the young woman at the front desk was extremely helpful. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing enough that I would not stay here again. The biggest problem is that this hotel simply does not seem designed with older guests in mind. I had a queen-size bed surrounded by a platform, and there was basically one practical way to get into and out of the bed. For a younger person, maybe that is no big deal. For an older person with mobility issues, it is extremely difficult. The rooms are also very small and cramped. The pillows were terrible. I asked whether they had better or different pillows, and apparently they did not. Maybe I am spoiled from staying at other hotels, but basic comfort should not be too much to ask. The internet was another major problem. At times I could barely make a call, send a text, or use the internet. The television was just as frustrating and did not work properly about 90% of the time. What bothered me most was the manager. A hotel manager should make guests feel comfortable and try to resolve problems. That was not my experience at all. The rest of the staff showed far more hospitality. On top of everything else, I was charged for an additional day for reasons I still do not understand. Beautiful property and some genuinely wonderful employees, but beauty alone does not make a good hotel stay. Between the tiny room, difficul
