I spent $155 for one room for a night. When I arrived to check in, they said Expedia had overbooked and refused to house us. They gave us a phone number to call, not connected to them whatsoever, and told us to ask for a manager at another hotel nearby that would help us find accommodations. The owner/manager told us the wrong name, and even then, the other hotel COULD NOT help us. Considering they didn’t make the mistake in the first place, Eagles Nest or Expedia, did! I am still waiting to hear back from my claim I had made through the company that offers travel ‘insurance’ per say, have not received a refund, and am still VERY, very unhappy with the whole situation. P.S. we were 3 and a half hours away from home.
