It was a great room. I was very comfortable. Comfortable bed and great shower. It’s an annex of a larger hotel So o didn’t really meet the staff except for messaging re check in. They were helpful. It a wonderful location for exploring Funchal. Off the Main Street near the cathedral, gardens, Blandy’s the Madeira sign and transit routes. Very convenient.

O recepcionista Pedro foi muito gentil e atencioso, nos orientando em tudo para que tivessemos uma estada maravilhosa e dias inesquecíveis na Ilha da Madeira ! Café da manhã bom, porém não havia ovos mexidos … somente cozidos. Há um ponto de informações turística bem em frente ao Hotel. Não deixem de fazer os passeios pela ilha e o teleférico ! Imperdível !! Perto do Hotel.

Rather confusing Instructions about the apartment and how to gain entry. Address provided on Expedia is different from one where need go to sign in, pay City Tax and collect access code. Breakfast item requires a good 1km walk to other location to get. Need be more upfront and clear about these.
