We had a perfect short stay, and would have loved to stay longer if our itinerary allowed. Everything was perfect and clean, as if we were the first visitors. We are a family of 6 with 4 children, and were hesitant if the kids would feel comfortable next door to us. It worked out perfectly. Clean and cozy! Bonus: We were able to see the Northern Lights even though it was a cloudy night.

Very lovely place to stay. Clean, modern, even had a washer and dryer to do our laundry! The cottage was hot and I couldn’t find a way to control the room temperature. Other than that, it was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Charming; contained all the necessary amenities; remote but accessible. Light blocking shades in the living area would have been nice for the people sleeping on the couch bed.

The property was new and modern. Reasons for 4 rather than 5 stars: 1) directions on the location online were not accurate. Once on site, when we finally figured out there as no sign indicating that the private rudimentary entrance was for that property. A simple signage would have helped a lot. 2) no instructions on how to use brand new induction cooktop 3) no court and blocking the su. In the kitchen which was also sleeping room . All things I’m sharing as they can easily be addressed and this becomes a 5 star experience

Beautiful location near the geyser and waterfalls around. Lovely cottage with amazing views and very private. Great for families as the main bed is in its own room and the sleeper sofa in the living room. Perfect for our family of four traveling with two kids. We had a small hiccup getting the access code information but once we contacted the owner directly, they were very helpful and resent the information. Seems like it’s an orbitz issue as we had the same issue at another location booked through orbitz. Both owners confirmed they had sent the email confirmation prior to arrival. All in all, highly recommend this place. We would have stayed longer if we could have. We were able to enjoy the hot tub (although it was a bit complicated to unlock and definitely need two people to assist- having directions posted would be helpful) and were able to do our laundry while here. It’s definitely a one of a kind experience that is a must while in Iceland.

Purtroppo la zona giorno con divano non era oscurata. Vasca idromassaggio sigillata e quando ho sbirciato ho visto che era sporca. Struttura stupenda nuova, sarebbe bastato un minimo di gestione, visto i costi era il minimo. Non abbiamo più avuto acqua calda, e nessuno ci ha risposto tutta la notte. Alla partenza ci è stato fatto fare il giro di tutte le ville che erano vuote per provare se nelle altre c’era acqua calda…siamo ripartiti senza fare la doccia. Il cliente si assume ogni incidente, la struttura prende i soldi e non va incontro al cliente con rimborsi.

nice peaceful area, rooms are a little small, but serve the purpose. hot tub is great, but it was very cold outside. so, not fun walking back to the room in cold wind. overall, nice place.

The rooms were spotless, so aesthetic, so modern, in the middle of everything you needed. I will be doing a great review on TikTok about this place for sure, but part of me wants to keep it lowkey because when i come back i will definitely be staying here. 10/10
