The accommodation was lovely and even accommodated for our family of 5 and situated in a great location for walking or water fun on the river as well as being not to far from the coast. the people that run this property was lovely friendly and very helpful. We stayed on a Tuesday when the pub and restaurant was closed so can't comment on the evening meals but the breakfast was lovely and plenty of choices would definitely come back.

This is definitely a hotel where you will find peace and tranquility. The balcony experience was amazing. The location is excellent, in a very quiet area. Perhaps the only drawback is the lack of a refrigerator in the room, but the fact that it's a pub could be a reasonable justification.

The family room was lovely and well equipped for 2 adults and 2 children. A couple of niggles in that the blind was broken in the bathroom and the rubbish bins were a bit on the small side. Staff were really lovely and nothing was any trouble. Breakfast was delicious and we had 1 meal there which was great. Lovely setting next to the river. Would highly recommend

We stayed in Willow, the staff were so lovely and attentive! They work so hard to make everything nice for you . The balcony was lovely this morning. We did the walk around the nature reserve and boat trip was great! Pete the captain was so nice and very knowledgable. We had the best time and Will definitely come back soon . Thanks to all the staff x

Amazing looking building beautiful bedroom with balcony Shane we were not informed about a 21 party being held as it was very loud until gone 1in the morning Breakfast was ok but nothing outstanding Staff were great but ran of there feet Very crowded in the bar either no seats available and it was to noisy to sit out on our balcony wanted a relaxing night away in the country felt like I was at loud club night

When we arrived we were told there would be a 10min wait for our room due to a late check out (even though we had arrived 30mins later than when the stated check in window began) . 45 mins later our room was finally ready. When we got to the room we found the toilet unflushed from the previous resident, with a lovely "deposit" sitting in it. We were told room service would be available, but when i tried to call either of the numbers on the menu in the room all I got was a voicemail or an unavailable number. I decided to go down to the bar and order directly from there. At the bar I was told that the menu in the room wasnt available and that i could only order from another menu. I said I needed to go and check what my partner wanted from this new menu and could I have a number to call to order. Upon getting to the room I discovered this was one of the same numbers from the other menu, so useless. Tired and annoyed we just gave up on dinner. We were told that the following morning we could have breakfast at 8am (as we wanted to eat early and get a start on our day). 8am came and went and there was nobody to be seen downstairs. Come 20 past 8 staff finally opened up for breakfast, we didnt really want to wait around any longer, and by this point were pretty fed up with our stay so we decided to just check out. Overall it was a pretty disappointing stay, and was certainly not worth the price we paid.

The hotel itself was nice, but the experience was terrible. The room was not ready at check in time and we couldn’t find parking. We had to ask for drinks while we waited, was amazed they didn’t think to do this to compensate for the inconvenience. The worst part was the fact that there was a function until 1am and continuing noise afterwards from rowdy guests. Our room was right above this. The most disappointing part was the reaction of the manageress when we raised it along with two other guests the next morning. No apology, just ‘well it was a function’ We would expect some warning in advance so we could make an informed choice as to whether we wish to stay,
