Beach view was unobstructed and the location was the best part of the property. Unfortunately the air conditioner was pumping out heat directly onto the small balcony, so sitting on the balcony was difficult in 98 degree weather. This is budget friendly property and we knew that when we booked. For the price is was acceptable for a quick weekend at the beach.

Clean room with a good Beach view. Friendly staff . The free buffet breakfast provided at the local restaurant was good. Parking was a bit different than I was used to since it was a block away but was a short walk and easy to get to. Good access to the beach and just a mile away from Broadway on the Beach where we spent a lot of our time.

We enjoyed our stay at the Carolinian. It was clean and well kept up. The staff were friendly. There was no issue with the parking. And the daily breakfast buffet was an excellent perk given to guests.

If you are planning to go in May, be sure you plan around Biker's Week, if you're looking for a quieter stay. The staff could have done a better job with keeping the hotel quiet especially the first floor. We stayed three nights and each night was awakened to yelling in the hall. I'm sure any other week is fine. We just didn't know it was Biker Week.

The Breakfast was the cherry on top.. Didn't get to get in the pool because it was very windy and chilly, but I seen a lot of people in the pool.. The place was clean and I enjoyed the free DVD rentals and I used the discount tickets to ask the Attractions.
