The room was excellent - an apartment type room with kitchen and separate bedroom. Because we stayed for New Years, the noise in the hallway was quite loud, and was fairly obvious even in our room. Multiple parking lots available in the area.

We loved our experience at this hotel. The rooms are very spacious, and very clean, and quite quiet, considering you’re right downtown Detroit! The location couldn’t be any better to attend any of the local attractions, weather for sports or arts! We had three room rooms rented total for our family, two of the three were fantastic one was definitely dated and dirty and not well attended to. No frills in theory, however, the apartment style would be great for a family or someone staying long-term and in Detroit.

The staff here was very kind and welcoming. My room was spacious, but the smell from the cleaning supplies was very overwhelming. It's an older building, so parts feel run down, and they do not have baggage storage if your room isn't ready, or you need to check out hours before a flight. The location is good, too, Walkable to many things. It served it's purpose since I only really needed a bed and shower for a work trip, but I probably would choose a traditional hotel next time.

The room was fairly clean. A few areas I had to sweep or wipe down. Full kitchen, separate bedroom and living spaces, and laundry was very helpful. Couch was super comfortable and you could easily sleep an extra person on without unfolding the pullout.

It looks like an acceptable boutique hotel, but I told my business partners I would have been embarrassed if they hadn't booked somewhere else. Paint was chipping off the walls, the lobby felt like a mailroom, and my floors (laminate) in the room were greasy. No knock on the effort, but it was a notably disappointing stay.
