We had a great time at Snug Harbor. The location was perfect, in the center of town, just off the main walking area. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We especially enjoyed having breakfast brought to our room each day, and the little details made a big difference - from a lovely fireplace to warm us on a chilly night to the earplugs provided to keep down the early-morning noises from outsides.

This was our first time visiting Catalina and we stayed for three nights. Honestly, we could not ask for better service. The hotel spotless. The breakfast was a treat each morning. Loved the chocolates left in the afternoon and the snack upon arriving. We would stay here again without hesitation and recommend to anyone. The room is cozy and it was great place to unwind between shopping, eating, and enjoying Catalina.

We went for my wife’s birthday. Jackie was very helpful and nice, she arranged to have roses in the room for my wife. The room was nice and had everything we needed. Avalon is a small town so everything is close and the Snug Harbor Inn is right in the middle of it all. I would recommend it to anyone.

Very satisfied over all. Very clean. The light continental breakfast was fresh and tasty. The small re-usable water jugs came in VERY handy for our walks around the town and the staff was awesome! The guy at the front desk was very helpful!

What a lovely hotel. We stayed in the Catalina Suite and we had the perfect view of the water. It was quiet and lovely, and the entire staff were courteous and friendly and helpful. I would recommend this any day of the week. This was my husband's first trip to Catalina, and now he wants to come back and add an extra day to the visit. We will more than likely stay at the same hotel. Thank you guys so much.

We had the Santa Catalina suite which is the best room in the place. It was very clean and smelled nice and fresh. Maid service kept it nice all week. The hotel is right on the main town square, 75 feet from the waves but we were never disturbed by noise. The room was fantastic! Beautuful view. Big comfy king bed. Big jacuzzi tub was awesome. A/C was very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My only critique would be that the room needs blackout curtains. We are not early morning people especially on vacation. The sun had us up earlier than we wanted.

We loved everything about our stay at the Snug Harbor! We got there early and our room was ready, check in was a breeze, and the hotel is spotless and well appointed. Light and airy room, huge mattress, plush towels, and a shower to die for (high water pressure and as hot as we wanted). Continental breakfast was delivered to our room daily, and evening snacks were also delivered daily. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Two things to be aware of, the step into the shower/tub is a big one, but a good grab bar helps a lot. And there is no elevator, so be prepared to go up the stairs with your luggage. The location couldn't be better with a partial view of the harbor, centrally located in Avalon. Everything is within walking distance, plenty of good restaurants close by. A pretty boutique hotel. Enjoy!
