We had a great time at the General Lewis. The accommodation was clean, staff friendly and helpful, and food was delicious. There’s a lovely patio area and a garden behind which was perfect to sit in in the evening with a glass of wine. Highly recommend!

Love the historical ambiance and proximity to downtown Lewisburg. The staff was very helpful with their recommendations for restaurants and site seeing. The bed was too hard for our liking, but overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

What a beautiful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful. We ate dinner in their restaurant and the food was great. We had the trout and crab cakes. The place was extremely clean and well maintained. Loved our room. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely being staying again.

Every detail from this stay was perfect. The property is beautifully maintained and immaculately clean. The check in was smooth, with the host being so helpful! Our room was lovely and so comfortable. We enjoyed dinner in town, and cocktails back at the inn- the drinks were made to perfection. So creative. We were just passing through Lewisburg, but my husband wanted to stay longer…it was that wonderful! I would recommend a stay at this inn without hesitation.

Great staff, very friendly and attentive. The hotel is an old house, but it has been well maintained and has a really cool vibe. We loved the bar and lobby area as well as the restaurant. The drinks and food were 10/10!

The hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Lovely hotel. Rooms were charming. However, my bed was so soft it was uncomfortable. And the side of the bed was so broken down, if I got close to it I was afraid I would roll off. The 2nd night the person in the next room had his TV going ALL NIGHT LONG. The walls were kind of thin being a historic building and all. So not a pleasant stay. 2 sleepless nights. But, lounge was nice. Staff was nice.
