After 14 years in the coffee industry, I can say the attention to detail on the coffee quality at the Padre was impressive - better than any motel or hotel I've ever stayed. Comfortable beds are also important, and we found the bed was very comfortable.

Highly recommend this property! Check in was easy. 2 bedroom suite wiwith sofa was fabulous for 3 of us traveling. Beds are great. Room is very clean. Loved staying here!

This is a little gem in a great location - don’t let the old-fashioned appearance deceive you. Just sorry we were only there for one night, because it would be a great home base for exploring the area. We had two small bedrooms and a sitting area for our family of 3, which felt luxurious. Beds were comfortable and the property was spotless. The Keurig coffee maker with real half and half was a real bonus. Best place we’ve stayed on this trip!

A nice place to stay. Great host, who went out of his way to be helpful. A large comfortable room. Right in the centre of Escalante, which is a relatively quiet, easy to like town. Close to the grocers and places to eat. Very good coffee in the room and well appointed bathroom. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows.

This is a motel on the main road. Room was good sized. Very basic. Bed was pretty comfortable. About as quiet as you might expect on the main road. Served it's purpose.

It’s a modest roadside motel in a wonderful location for hiking and experiencing the amazing Grand Staircase. Nespresso machine in the room with unlimited coffee pods and small fridge were useful and appreciated. Owner/manager, Charles, is very kind and helpful. Great TV and near several good eateries. Super clean. Decent shower. Very good value. I plan on staying there again someday.

The Padre is a nice, basic motel. The Padre’s proprietor, Charles, was very friendly and helpful. He responded to our needs quickly. This hotel is an older building but well maintained and clean. Escalante is a tiny town. You can walk to the few restaurants along Main Street. The Escalante National Monument is just 10 minutes down the million dollar highway, and that is amazing to experience.

Perfect stay for a night while heading from Bryce to Capitol Reef. Staff member at front desk was extremely nice and helpful and the room was cute and clean! Would definitely stay again if ever in the area again.
