Comfortable, clean and convenient. The room was spacious with a large bed, microwave and fridge. There was plenty of coffee, and salt and pepper. Parking was convenient, just outside our cabin. The bathroom was newly decorated . The weather was very warm but the aircon worked well. We would stay here again.

This place was amazing. I loved staying here. Solo traveling on a motorcycle cross country and this place was perfect. Super clean and updated inside with a nice old-school cabin feel on the outside. Front door parking for your motorcycle or car with a nice porch out front and some area’s to sit and relax. Bed was very comfortable and also had nice heaters in the inside the bathroom. check-in was amazing simply due to the fact that they give you a code for the door and you do not have to talk to anybody if that’s not your thing you might be disappointed but to me it was so easy and hassle free. When I come back to South Dakota, which I definitely will because the riding there is amazing. I will definitely stay here.

We selected Ponderosa Pines because it was the most reasonably priced of the many hotels in the Deadwood/Spearfish area. We could not have been more pleased!! This little (probably Vintage 1950's motel) room #20 was spotless, with such a fresh, clean feel, contemporary furnishings, gleaming appliances, bathroom. Nice long front porch outside our room, with chairs and table for morning coffee and reading, and old stagecoach in the grass beyond. Would love to stay again.
