The location is great, close to royal mile but away from a lot of foot traffic so the rooms were quiet. Check in and checkout was smooth. The wifi didn't work at all for 2 out of 3 days of my trip, and the room I had didn't have good mobile signal either, so I had no internet at all. The room smelled musty but was mostly comfortable. I was given no instructions at all during check-in and discovered on my own that they have free coffee and tea on the ground floor for everyone. I appreciate the sustainability effort of not washing the towels every single day, but it would have been useful to have two bath towels in the bedroom instead of just the one. Overall was an ok stay!

The standard vs. the price was not acceptable. The room first room was not clean. The second was better. No ventilation in the rooms so the air was very bad. Went next door for breakfast after the first morning. Could not get a 15 min extended check out. Not going back.

Ran out of toilet paper. Ask the reception to clean up and go over my room. They gave me clean towels (that I didn’t need), didn’t clean, and I had to pick up toilet paper in the reception.

Nice hotel close to the train station. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. Be sure to schedule in advance if you want an early check in, I mistakenly thought you could just pay on the day to check in early and that wasn’t the case. But they do let you leave your luggage. The gin distillery is right across the street as well as one of the Islander UK workshops. I partook in both! And there’s a little chocolate shop around the corner. The room is small but cozy and I had a nice little view. The staff was friendly and checking out was just dropping your key card in a box!

Hyvä sijainti Erittäin pienet huoneet. Sopii toki hyvin yksinmatkustavalle mutta jos matkustaa kaksin suosittelen vain vastarakastuneille. Todella simppeli aamiainen. Henkilökunnan palvelualttius hyvin vaihtelevaa, yleensä kehno. Vaikka olin kertonut 4 päivää etukäteen, että viimeisenä yönä meitä oli kaksi matkustajaa (eikä pariskunta) oli yhtä mahdotonta saada twin bed kuin myös toinen peitto. Edes sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä ei voitu toimittaa meille toista peittoa. Todella surullista
