The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery

The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery

8/10 Good
"Reception checking in was thorough and personally escorted to the room. Nice touch, but let the baggage team do that as it slowed check-in down horrendously for the next person. The spa treatment was great. But not being able to use the pool or gym while waiting was a surprise given we were both guests of the hotel and the spa facility. The restaurant was pleasant and airy, but the food was not that great. They need to learn what a Laksa is, and the duck dish was pretty average. Checkout was slow (ref earlier comment), but very polite and a nice way to leave the hotel."

The Liner Hotel

8/10 Good
"Ideal location-next to the Empire theatre and a short walk to the shops and waterfront. Slight downside of being next to the rail station as the noise is constant until the last train at midnight. Rooms are spacious with clean and comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Very warm in rooms and hotel in general-no air con. Breakfast was decent-reasonable choice of hot and cold food. All staff helpful and friendly. Overall good value."
