Bin mit einheimischer sprachkundiger Begleiterin angereist und ortskundigem Fahrer gebracht worden, für den es nicht ganz einfach war, die im geschlossenen Bereich einer Residencia gelegene Unterkunft zu finden - am Ziel angekommen öffnete sich sogleich das Tor vom Zaun. Klein aber fein - die sauberen Zimmer lagen in einem liebevoll gepflegten Anwesen mit Pool im hübschen schattigen Garten und Koi-Teich, der sich auch im Hausinneren wiederfindet. Tückisch sind die besonders bei Nässe spiegelglatten Bodenfliesen, wo unter der Dusche extreme Rutschgefahr besteht und in einer Paniksituation eine Stange oder Griff zum festhalten fehlt. Zwischen 7:30 und 10:00 Uhr wird im Haus oder auf einer Terrasse ein reichhaltiges Frühstück mit Heißgetränk, Saft und Obst appetitlich serviert, wo zusätzlich noch unter Eierspeisen, Sandwich oder Müsli gewählt werden kann. Ich hatte die Unterkunft für die letzten beiden Nächte meines Aufenthalts gebucht und schätzte die unmittelbare Nähe zum Flughafen Punta Cana. Anstatt vorzeitiger Aufbruchstimmung fand ich hier noch bis zuletzt die Ruhe und Entspannung vollwertiger Ferientage - von hier aus besteht auch die Möglichkeit schnell und angemessen zu reagieren, falls sich Unregelmäßigkeiten beim Rückflug ergeben.

This is a hidden GEM! Beautiful atmosphere with zen vibes. The hosts were kind, welcoming and helpful. The room basic but very clean and well appointed. The FREE breakfast was amazing. The biggest challenge was getting there using an airport taxi. Have Mapquest available to help them! I highly recommend !

Affordable place to stay in a safe environment close to the airport and the beach. The owner was very friendly and the entire setting was very clean and unique. It doesn’t have many bells and whistles. One towel, one bar of soap about covers the room. No mini fridge, cups, ice etc. Sinks don’t drain well but found that around most of DR. We were able to check in early and after we checked out at 11, stay on site for a few hours til our flight. Ubers were about $7 usd to the closest beach and $10 next day to airport. Pool was cold in Jan and hot tub wasn’t working. Breakfast was made to order and very good!

We had an amazing stay at MANAYA Bed & Breakfast during our trip to Punta Cana. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The gentleman took the time to give us a tour of the property and even showed us the koi fish, which was such a special and thoughtful touch. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the property was peaceful and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and you can truly tell that they care about their guests. We genuinely enjoyed our experience and would absolutely book here again when we return. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, personal, and memorable stay.

We had a late flight coming in. I tried to communicate with the hotel a week in advance daily by chat and by phone to confirm we can do a late check-in. We never heard back from the hotel. We communicated with Expedia for assistance. We had to book a new hotel the night before my flight to make sure my kids had a place to sleep that night. Expedia was not able to help either and it was too late to cancel my booking. We had to pay for 2 hotels for our stay in Punta Cana, very disappointing experience.

The room was clean, the property was beautiful. You can really tell that they put a lot of love into it. There was a Koi pond both inside and out. The backyard was gorgeous. Only downside is that I would say it’s in a neighborhood and there is not a lot Around. I would not consider walkable especially at night. I got a little lost if you have a car then this is perfect.

We are sick for two days after eating the free breakfast. Option 3 Cereal is the worst. They brought out uncooked oats as if normal. They didn't give us any local tropical fruit though on the menu. Front Desk is unstaffed.

The hosts were very accommodating and were ready to help and answer all the questions we had. They could use more cleaning with the room. The bathroom smelled of urine the whole time we were there despite me trying to clean it with the disinfectant wipes I had with me for our trip. Overall it was a good place to stay for a short duration. My family and I felt safe during our stay there.
