Booked one night for spa break spa fully booked with people on day packages and local people we walked past and people crammed in like sardines did not look enjoyable at all !! the price of spa should be included in room rate so the paying staying guests who have travelled get to use spa and it’s not crammed and overbooked complete waste of time a lot young people lots of drugs being smoked in rooms the snell was disgusting fire alarms went off ruining our stay even more ! Called reception to complain he said they had several complaints on the drugs the wave machine broken so nothing much to see or do no pubs or restaurants on walking distance for 20 minutes drive away, evening meal was lovely breakfast was awful cheap bacon and sausage will not returm

The hotel itself is good, although a bit overrated. Staff very polite and very kind always willing to help. Unfortunately, our stay was spoiled straight upon arrival. We have been told that we can book spa in on arrival to the hotel. So we deciaded to go with this place as a birthday treat for my wife. Unfortunately when we arrived we were advised no free spaces and we couldnt get accomodated. This was not ideal as there isnt much to do around....and obvioulsy we wouldnt of come here knowing spa was no go.... big downfall. We stayed 1 night. Hotel is nice . We had a breakfast following morning [ its on a pricey end] it has a hot food and a continental option. Continental option was a bit crap, sweet teats like croissant and chocolate buns were hard, i bet you could knock someone out with it :) all in all, stay was as it was .... will we come back? Probably not. The big compliment to lady on reception with long hair, (3rd and 4th of Jan)who was the most helpful, supportive and friendly woman there :)

We had a fantastic time at the hotel with our young daughter. The restaurant food was lovely, a little pricey, but can't complain about how nice the food was or portion sizes. Staff were all lovely. Breakfast was nice, personally I would have liked more fruit as an option but that's just me. Perfect location, with kids adventure activities across from the hotel ( skate park, ninja adventure activities, climbing walls etc) also nice for the adults that it has a spa for some downtime.

Nice modern hotel - a few service issues

Hotel was excellent modern hotel nicely designed - if I was being picky I do prefer an ensuite rather than the current trend of frosted glass and sink in room. That is just me though! The only thing that let it down was service in the bar which was terrible, young lad was out of his depth - our drinks at dinner finally arrived after the starters and I heard him drop at least 6 glasses on the floor through the evening. The waiter forgot to order one of our parties main courses- he handled it well and so all was good and sorted. Breakfast continental was restricted choice but fine - english buffet excellent. I would definitely stay again - would book Spa in advance though as was frustrating that as a resident we could not use facilities as they were full. Almost forgot - excellent cheese board

Travelled to the property for two nights stay with my wife and 10 week old baby. Location is beautiful, great walking routes and it’s right next to a big adventure sports centre. Unfortunately condition/cleanliness of some of the rooms is poor - first room had mould on ceiling in shower and significant mildew around the tiles. Staff were great and showed us to new room, however the bedding was unclean, and when the bedding was removed for replacement, we could see that the mattress cover was covered in hair. Night Manager and staff got involved and personally checked the next room for us which was great, the staff were a huge help - special thanks to Millie, Brad and Simon we would stay here again because of them.

Paid extra for the suite thinking it would be more comfortable but unfortunately the bed was really uncomfortable. We like visiting North Wales to go out and explore the natural beauty of the area and relax in the evening but unfortunately there wasn’t much comfort in the room, the fridge wasn’t even cold and the tv didn’t even have free view which isn’t normal a problem as we always take our Apple TV with us but unfortunately there was no power point to plug it into. Was very disappointed about this hotel as the pictures look fantastic but the and is such a shame as the hotel has a lot of potential. As North Wales is a favourite place for us especially that area this could have been a regular hotel for us to visit. I did bring this to the attention of the hotel staff which I will say did try their best to resolve this by showing us another room but it was just the same .
