This is something of a (graduate) student dorm that runs as a hotel outside of term. The property has some shared amenities (kitchen, laundry, work areas and a tv lounge. Staff was communicative and available. This property is a rare lodging option in the Stoney Batter neighborhood. Great restaurants (yeah Slice!) and pub options. Easy transit to central Dublin.

The room was perfect for a solo traveler, just there for a few days. Private bathroom, bed, and closet was all I needed - and the price point was fantastic. Very clean facility, includes a gym, and easily walkable distances to everything you need.

The room had all we needed and very clean. Would have liked an extra towel in the bathroom and a face wash cloth plus proper hooks to hang wet towels. The common kitchen/living room on the upper floor was an extra treat. Walkable location close to shops, pubs and restaurants.

We didn't realise that it was student accommodation until we received an email saying so the day before we arrived. Our impression was it was an actual apartment with kitchen and bedroom for sole use only. The room was clean, the bathroom was small but clean. The doors are heavy and noisy slamming shut all hours of the night. At the end of the day it was clean, a bed to sleep in, good location and the price is a good reflection of the experience.

The Residence was better than I expected. It is basically a relatively new student housing complex but free rooms are rented as hotel rooms. Despite its purpose as a student accommodation the hotel was peaceful. Only the closing doors caused heavy slamming noice in the night. Maybe better door pumps could help. The hotel is not fancy but very good if you are more about affordable and easy-going accommodation than luxury. The confirmation for the hotel reservation requires your passport and mugshot transferred via online. A bit weird policy that should be rethought.

Nice and clean room, functional for my needs. Only downside is no temperature control in the bedroom, which meant you've got to sleep with the window open, and the window opens onto a common area where people from other rooms sit and talk on their phones half the night. Which ismt ideal. Good location for Dublin zoo, city centre and in general a nice place to stay

TV is in common rooms. The bar next door parties pretty hard. It will be noisy. Buses are very walkable to anywhere and everywhere. Value for the money.
