We had an awful experience here, we would NOT recommend this hotel. We were woken up by police banging on our door at 4 AM that a fire was occurring in the hotel. No fire alarms were going off in any of the building which is incredibly dangerous. As we were escorted out, other guests also mentioned the same thing. Thank Goodness that the police arrived because we could have alll been hurt. When we eventually returned to our room after police and fire fighters let us back in, we finally noticed that our smoke detector in the room was missing. During this whole situation, there was no hotel staff on the property. This is INCREDIBLY dangerous and I have submitted a report and complaint through hotels.com as the hotel number does not even work to speak with someone. It is UNACCEPTABLE that you can book an EXTREMELY dangerous stay at this property.

Fire alarm broken, needed to store it in my car overnight. Sheets dirty (glad I brought a blanket to sleep on). It’s good for using bathroom and crashing after a busy night in Sac. Car was safe in parking lot (so that was good)

They mention no smoking and that was the first smell of marijuana, cocoraches, There was a leak of water, Mold at the bathtub, wall paint wall falling, very dirty carpet dirty, beds make top much right away when you sit . Dissapointed because the photos on website has NOTHING alike in person

Checked in and there was a bowel movement on the toilet and some smeared on the blanket. Hair on the counter and in the towels. The smoke detector was off the ceiling and on a counter. Tried to request a new room, but there was nobody up front. We tried ringing the doorbell multiple times and waited 20 minutes, but had to leave because there was a stranger on the property making us feel unsafe and asking about our room. Let the cleaning lady know about the bowel movement and she had nothing to say. I have been attempting to get a refund, but no luck.

The room was run down and dirty, there were several water leaks, and it was way overpriced ($140); it was bad. On the other hand, it was very convenient to downtown for the marathon and the front desk people were very kind and went out of their way to be accommodating, like offering a different room and allowing us to stay past the normal check out time.

Did the job of innkeeping well.

The hotel was excellent for the price charged. It wasn't the Waldorf but was a affordable, convenient, and welcome place to stay in a time when it seems every room in town over charges by 20 or 30 %. When lookad at with that in mind it was 5 star.
