Far too expensive for the quality and comfort. The listing says; “standard room” on the bill it says; “small twin room” and that’s what it is!! The broom cupboard has a bathroom and toilet. The lighting is lousy, there are two lamps that don’t work. Access to the room is via a “chicken ladder”. Ok bed, clean bedding and towels. RITUALS soap in the bathroom is a plus. Friendliness on arrival. But there are no (or only a few) parking spaces nearby. The breakfast was good! The staff should smile a little. Think really carefully before booking.

Chambre spacieuse et litterie confortable. La douche était très grande et des produits de soin de qualité. Le personnel est très agréable. Petit bémol côté insonorisation car la porte de la chambre laissait passer tous les bruits du couloir. Heureusement peu de passage après 23h

Personeel zeer vriendelijk, snelle incheck. Kamer; bedden heel smal, lag nog schoonmaakdoekje in de badkamer. Uitzicht op een dak, tv deed het niet. Wel fijne ritualsprodukten in kamer. Lekkere borrelhapjes op mooi terras met top-uitzicht. Ontbijtbuffetje prima.

Om bij de kamer te komen twee smalle steile trappen op. In de kamer was het 12 graden. Er staat n kledingrek in de kamer direct naast het bed, erg krap en oncomfortabel. Van de verlichting in de badkamer bleek de schakelaar verscholen onder de rand van de spiegel, personeel moeten vragen waar de schakelaar zat. Ontbijt is uitstekend.

Uitzicht van de kamer was niet geweldig. Wij keken uit op de ingang en gang van andere kamers. Daardoor was het niet prettig om de gordijnen open te hebben. Misschien beter om dit bij deze kamer te vermelden.

Somewhat disappointing ambience

The room was very industrial with harsh grey walls and a view out of the window to the bins below. The room needed to be softened. There was hanging space but no drawers for other clothes. There was no tea/coffee making facilities nor a welcome bottle of water. The room didn’t feel especially clean with spiders in the WC. It was nice to have a bath though. Breakfast was fine.

The premises of this hotel is some rooms above a restaurant. The area is really amazing, worth visiting. The room we were offered had the only window next to an alley that people were passing by from other rooms so if you wanted light there was no privacy. That was a big minus. The breakfast was okish but lacked any fruits. For the price paid was not vfm, but the area is really worth visiting.
