Travelers relying on GPS navigation should get familiar with the entrance head of time. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Parking is problem free. Free coffee and tea in the lobby is nice.

Don’t be put off by the surrounding area; the pool is still under construction. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet, if you ask for a room facing away from the freeway. Enjoyed my brief stay.

Everything was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. There did not appear to be any amenities except free coffee. The pool and lobby are under construction and are a big hole in the ground next door currently (4/24/2026). That being said, the price is right given the current state of things. Also, there is no elevator and this place is three stories.

Iffy neighborhood, inconvenient off-freeway access, super small room with very powerful A/C unit made regulating a comfortable temperature impossible. In fairness, will be a better property when (if, in Tucson) they finish building the parking lot/pool; and providing better access to the hotel. Room was newly remodeled and super clean. That part was good. Would I stay again? Not until they finish construction.

Our room was clean. The bed very comfortable and the shower delightful. I loved the groovy wallpaper too. Staff interaction was minimal. A number of rooms are dedicated to people who travel with their dogs and there is no fee, which we greatly appreciated. The dog area is very small. We checked in early there were very few cars. But after 9pm the occupants of rooms next to us arrived, slamming car doors, trunks peeping, loud voices, etc. I don’t know what the hotel can do about that, but it was unpleasant.

the room was great, the bed was nice, but the frame was noisy. The shower and bathroom were awesome!! Location was good for work, and being on the back side helped with the noise. With the quality of the rooms, I can't wait to see what's coming with the pool, office, etc. I may have found my new Tucson hotel.

A couple in their mid-70s with mobility limitations was given a second-floor room at the far end of the building, with no bellhop available and a broken elevator. The bedside table was unstable, the seating was just a basic chair, and the entire room had tile flooring. Unfortunately, a fall did occur. Excellent staff and clean room. Renovation in progress and room not ready to lease. Unfinished wall and ceiling. Pool being constructed and no easily accessible restaurant.

I love the modern style, although the hotels not fully done being worked on not all the amenities were available. I would have to say the bedding was thoughtfully, taken care of the pillows, and the comforter were super comfortable.

This independently owned hotel that was a former motel is a hidden gem in Tucson, from the retro decor to the double headed shower to the comfortable bed and linen to the delicious breakfast pastries. If you are a light sleeper be sure to ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Carmen, who worked the front desk during the day, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She was a true ambassador for the hotel, Highly recommend!

However, the hotel lacks prominent signage, making it hard to locate, and the check-in office is not easily identifiable. A designated drive-up area for check-in would improve convenience. While guest services were professional, a warmer reception would enhance the experience. More exterior lighting and additional dog-friendly amenities would also be beneficial, especially given the location. Overall, The Alice Hotel is a pleasant choice for a short stay, with a few areas for improvement that would enhance the overall guest experience.
