From the moment I walked in the greeting at check in was brilliant and continued throughout. However, the hotel staff went above and beyond after I had checked out and left something behind. Thank you to all involved you really made a difference to my stay.

First time staying in The Landmark Hotel as I was in the vicinity for a conference! Although, the Kellys always prided themselves on exceptional standards, and given my Mother was a former member of staff in its heyday, I was given a room that shouldn’t have been used for guests! The bathroom had major issues with tiles about to come off the wall, the sink area not thoroughly cleaned to a high level of standards and the furniture was outdated and the curtains had bad stains on them! The best part of my stay was the exceptional staff at breakfast and again in The Boardwalk and reception! Left feeling disappointed by the stay.

The hotel is beautiful, major drawback is the lack of air conditioning. The hotel is very clean, well maintained facility located in a perfect spot in Carrick-on-Shannon. Plenty of parking around back. Like most hotels in Ireland, there was no early check in, even an hour or so, which is annoying for travelers looking to clean up then go exploring the area.

Beautiful location, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was appalling. Very very dated, clearly not maintained at all. Paper and paint flaking from the walls and ceiling. Furniture is tatty and battered. The bathroom was horrendous, shower curtain (why is that even a thing in 2026) was covered in stains, taps didn’t work properly, water was either take your skin off or make you freeze. Breakfast was not great, self serve coffee machine? Watered down “fresh” juice,L. Really let down with our stay and time there.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order so it took a while but that’s better than a buffet that’s been sitting there all morning. Very pleasant stay. Staff were all friendly. I would stay there again.

The Hotel was nice just a bit dated, the staff are lovely and friendly. The location is amazing looking onto the water and just a minutes walk to the town. The breakfast wasn't great for a 4 star hotel I've had better in a Bed and Breakfast. It was expensive for what we got.
