Was shown the room during check in and asked about the room not looking like the listing photos. I didn’t get an answer and he showed us another room that was the same. I decided to not fight it. The room was dated but I could handle the misrepresentation from the listing. The man, I’m assuming the manager, was otherwise quite nice. We had plans and left for a while. We were able to look around more after we returned to the property and it was absolutely filthy. There was clearly a bug problem. There were crumbs left over from a previous guess. The refrigerator was gross. Cigarette burns in the sheets. The shower was dirty. The manager refused a refund because he’d offered another room. Seriously doubt another would have been any better. He also denied that there were any bugs. Had to find other accommodations at the last minute. The place would have been fine, if a bit dated, for the three days if the cleanliness has not been abysmal. The listing photos are also an obvious bait and switch. I see now that there are earlier replies telling people that they have to book a studio for the updated rooms, but I did book a studio and was not checked into a nicer room. Instead we were told that the bugs we could see with our own eyes didn’t exist and denied a refund that shouldn’t have even been questioned.

We left a day early knowing we paid for an extra day - I didn’t care - the room was supposed to be “nonsmoking” but there was an ashtray in there and it REEKED of stale smoke. The towels looked crusty and old, I didn’t DARE to even attempt to take a shower because I didn’t want to touch the towels. The room was laughably damaged, it looked like someone had taken a hammer to the stove and refrigerator. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows could barely be called that due to how thin they were - even trifolded they barely provided any support. And to top it off, the BUGS came out at night! Not one, not two, but THREE creepy crawlies (including what looked to be a small cockroach) came out in the bathroom during the middle of the night - NO THANKS! Hightailed it out of there. Gave the staff themselves low ratings because the woman that unlocked the doors for us looked at us like “why are you bothering me?” and the man that checked us in barely said 2 words to us. Completely unwelcoming - that should have been the first sign to run. NEVER AGAIN! Definitely a case of “buyer beware” / “you get WORSE than you pay for”. Gross - Gross - Gross. The photos on hotels.com looked like they had recently renovated - DEFINITELY NOT, at least not the room we stayed in… Feels like a case of “false advertising”…

I wouldn't stay here again, but it wasn't horrible. This property seems to cater to smokers. The first room I was given was a smoking room and smelled terribly. I requested a refund but was denied and instead offered another room that was the actual room I booked. I'm not sure if they did that on purpose, but it seems that they have "nice rooms" and smoking rooms. The room I stayed in was pretty decent and looked like the pictures.

The room was very clean. The manager at the front desk was very accommodating in helping us figure out how to get the TV working . It was in a convenient location for us, and affordable, especially since this was high season for visitors. No frills, but none expected.

The room was poorly cleaned. I was about to just look for another place. The bed had saliva stains (I hope it was saliva). The toilet didn’t flush the first time, 4-5 retries were needed. Also the bathroom was full of disgusting yellow spots almost everywhere. Regardless of the room being smoking free, there were ashes in the floors. It was hard to communicate with the front desk, they don’t speak english or spanish.

The front desk staff and check in was simple and friendly. The room was more than adequate. My basic needs for being close to the rail stop, a store, and convenience for basic need located nearby. The room was very dated and worn. The bed linen was “mostly” clean, but I doubt I was the first one to sleep in the bed since the sheets were washed. The cleanliness, if I could call it that, was on par with staying at a college friends place for the night. For example, the mismatch bath towels that were so stained that I wasn’t sure if it had been used to clean an auto engine first. It “smelled” clean though. The floor and dresser top were sticky. The tub had a drain visibly clogged with someone’s hair. So when I closed my eyes and went to sleep, I was fine. But it was not the model of cleanliness, but didn’t feel unhygienic so much. It’s just been a while since I found hesitations about a hotel/motel.
One of the bath towels I could bring myself to use on my body.
The since wasn’t so clean. But I just need to brush my teeth and shave.
I didn’t get a photo of the hair ball climbing out of the drain. But promise it want me given I am bald! 🥹😅

We had a mix up at first as my Expedia credit didn’t show on the motels side so I was booked into a room completely different than I expected. As soon as my boyfriend arrived we went to the office and spoke to the front desk clerk Mike. He was able to switch us to the correct room immediately. That room was just like the pictures; very clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure was amazing!! Absolutely loved the waterfall shower head, for that alone we’ll return lol.

Expedia, not sure why you have this on your platform with Good rating! I got my parents here for an old stay and found hair inside the sheets everywhere. There were cigarette butt holes on the sheets and beds. Leftover food particles or a tooth? Good only knows , inside the sheets. The flush doesn’t work? lol it was super inconvenient with poop floating throughout your stay inside the commode. They turn off WiFi after sometime? Can’t locate it and they don’t give WiFi info explicitly. Smells bad, torn towels, no charging outlets, missing tv remote, no toiletries! Avoid it like the plague!! Sucks!! Lost my money!

Didn’t expect much for the price but the rating is too high. Pretty sure the comforters had not been washed in some time. Gas range did not work and was pretty dirty. We just stayed the night, only there for about 11 hrs so it served its purpose.
