It was ok!
It was amazing trip. The only part that was bad was the shower. The shower wasn’t clean. Otherwise it was good. I let the manager know and I hope it will be clean for the next guest. I will not be back. Maybe some will see it as not important, but every guest should have a clean bathroom when they check in. That’s just good customer service. I’ve been in customer service for five years and I think that having a bathroom that’s not when I arrive is not good.

NOT SAFE NOT CLEAN NOT NOT FOR FAMILY !!!!
NOT FOR FAMILY STAY IS TERRIBLE WITH LITTLE CHILDRENS. Our deaf toddler got sick the first night , very thing walls we could hear All conversations, bathroom super tiny and we found poop on the toilet when we arrived . and due to the fact that our toddler got sick and was crying that made the guests bangs the walls and say shut up to us , we notified management of the problem and instead of them taking care of it they allow the guests to call the police on us because they heard our kid crying . Yes our toddler was in pain sick and we were trying to leave the motel that night we didn’t feel safe with those angry guests , no manager on sight you are on your own . We tried to ask for refund since we only spent 1 night out of 4 nights , management said they were sticking to their policy and not refund us or care to make us feel welcome or care for . We felt discriminated and unsafe . EVEN THE POLICE APOLOGIZED TO US FOR THE EVENT . This motel is TERRIBLE . NEVER AGAIN !!

Hidden gem
The room was very clean and comfortable and located close to the Carolina Beach boardwalk. The heat in my room was not working and I texted the motel manager. They were very responsive and had someone out within the hour to fix the heat. When they couldn't fix it, they moved me to another room that was nicer than my original booking. I would stay here again.

The room was clean. The bathroom was rather small and there was only one small trashcan in the bathroom. It would be helpful to have another trashcan. The location was great! Each room had chairs and a table outside of it, which would be nice in warmer weather. The keypad light also did not work, which made it difficult to see the numbers to get in the door. Overall, a good deal.

Wonderful Respite
We loved our time at Carolina Beach Motel- We only spent 1 night but they were so accommodating when we had car trouble and trip was delayed a day. Staff was helpful with check in and we loved being able to walk to Mexican restaurant for dinner! Also walking distance to beach and shops. We will definitely be back- space is small but wonderfully thought out and includes a microwave, adorable fridge and coffee maker. It was immaculately clean and plenty of towels which is a huge bonus!

Loved the room and the outside seating area. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels/wash cloths. Really good coffee and creamer which you almost never get from a hotel room coffee. Also the location was awesome. We walked almost everywhere we wanted to go. Check in process could not have been easier. Five stars for sure!
