WE NEVER EVEN MADE IT TO THE STAY! After speaking personally with the front desk to request a room close to the pool so we could keep an eye on our two 17 year old children, I was told they would do that. When we arrived, I was told the pool has been closed for weeks and "we just haven't updated our site yet". There was a sign taped on the front desk countertop that said "Pool is closed and that has also affected our breakfast area so no breakfast served". While asking the front desk why I wasn't told no pool or breakfast when I called 5 hours earlier to assure a room close to the pool, 3 (yes 3) people came to the front desk to say their room key wouldn't work and one person to say the elevator was "broken". Two other families also there upset they weren't told no pool or breakfast. I told the front desk clerk to cancel our room, knowing there would be no refund. We went to a VERY nice motel down the road. At 11:30pm I recieve a call from a young man asking if we were going to use the room. I told him I had cancelled and he said "oh, I will look into it". I called back one hour later and he answered "hello, this is my personal phone". I told him I was checking to see what he found out and he said "I don't recall calling anyone about a room, especially you" and hung up on me.
