We live 20 mins away but chose to come for dinner and spend the night. Booked a room with a fireplace which was so cozy. We arrived on a beautiful fall day and made the most of our time there. We played pickleball and went for a walk on the trails before enjoying a scrumptious dinner at Wilks bar. LH is such a special place that we enjoy coming to.

We had an amazing stay and the dinner was delicious with such beautiful presentation. We just wished we had more time to explore and used the spa and swimming pool. The room was immaculate.

Place is lovely. Service excellent. Dining in Dining Room and Breakfast were average at best and very expensive. Dinner in Wilks Bar was excellent.

My meal was very disappointing. The scallops started were good but not great, minutely proportioned, but the big disappointment was the mushroom risotto. It was more like mushroom soup with a bit of rice thrown in. Flavours were good, but it was quite runny, way more than “creamy”. We had great expectations for our anniversary dinner, but the overall result left us cold.

6/10 不錯哦

The grounds, building and pool were impressive. Our rooms layout was a bit weird with the bed tucked in the corner and the bed was really high. The fine dining dinner was underwhelming. Would have been nice to have a continental breakfast. We had to leave the property for breakfast.

The room was lovely. The flooring in the bathroom is older and needs repairs. The curtains were u hooked in places.

We had a relaxing and perfect stay at Langdon Hall! We had been before but brought our toddler for the first time. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. High chairs/booster seats were always set up at our dining reservation times. Food was delicious as always, and every detail was perfect and lovely. We enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and loved walking around the gardens and the grounds. Langdon Hall is truly a wonderful escape and worth every penny! We will definitely be back.

This is a foodie paradise with great staff, great rooms, and great vibes. Definitely not where I'd go for a spa retreat but it was still super relaxing and would 10/10 return.
