Studio 6 is my new "go to" motel when I'm in Huntsville. The check-in was a breeze, staff friendly and helpful, and convenient self parking. The area felt safe. It was great to have a refrigerator with a full size freezer which actually worked.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, but the room did not meet reasonable cleanliness standards. It smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the floors appeared unswept, the area near the kitchenette was sticky and dirty, and the comforter had holes that appeared to be cigarette burns. I requested a different room but was told none was available. Because I was traveling with my children, I did not feel comfortable staying under these conditions and had to leave before completing my stay. I hope management addresses these issues by ensuring rooms are thoroughly cleaned, smoke-free, and properly maintained, with suitable alternatives available when problems arise.

The room was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient. (I was attending a convention at the Von Braun Center.) And the price was right. BTW - I was in a suite which had a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, and a toaster. The only negative (and it is a minor issue) is that there is no listing of the television stations available in the room or on the television. You have to scroll through all the channels to find the one you're looking for.

The room had new furniture and fixtures, but overall was not clean. There were no bugs. Shower curtain had mold. No blow dryer or coffee maker. No shampoo or conditioner, just bar soap.
