The stay was wonderful. House was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend

We wanted a clean and remote place to stay with a mountain view and that's what we got. It was so peaceful on our dead-end road and the mountain was literally right behind the house. We weren't bothered by slamming doors, kids running around and people wanting to clean our room. Apache Junction is such a small town, which we loved, but it had so much to offer. Make sure you eat breakfast/brunch at Toast Gio's; try the delicious BBQ at Dutchman's Country BBQ; stop by the Rusty Buckle Saloon no matter what you're craving (don't miss their live music on the weekends) and The Hitching Post for home-made pizza (don't miss their live music and bull riding on Saturdays); spend a day touring Goldfield Ghost Town and driving out Apache Trail aka Route 88, at least till you get to Tortilla Flat. Travel a little ways to Gold Canyon for a hike to see the Hieroglyphic Trailhead. I've heard the best time to go is in the fall or spring.
