This was the best accommodation in Portland that we have stayed at—by a wide margin. The building and unit itself are a dream. Spacious, quiet, elevated, fresh, clean, thoughtful touches, quality finishes and materials, comfortable, inviting, secure…I have nothing but praise for this property. My spouse and I waxed lyrical about it for the entire stay, “Oh my goodness, I wish we lived here.”, and “we’re home!”. Of course we were happy to get back to our real home back in Boston after our time at the Weldon came to a close, but it was sincerely a “home away from home” experience top to bottom. Book this place—you’ve found the one.

The hotel is in an ideal location in downtown Portland. The staff is so kind and very accommodating! The stay was beyond comfortable and is the place we will stay every time we return to Portland!

The Weldon Hotel truly knows the meaning of exceptional hospitality! From the moment we arrived, everything was thoughtfully taken care of. Check-in was convenient and smooth. We had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. The gym and conference room were icing on the cake for our business travel needs! The location was so perfect. It was a short walk to restaurants, shopping, and the port, yet wonderfully peaceful and quiet when it was time to relax. It was the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. What impressed us most was the genuine level of care, fine linens, and hospitality. They are the prime example of an outstanding experience!
