Beautiful resort. Good food. Fantastic pool. Safe in room wasn't working. Maintenace was sent three times, had me waiting in the room for over an hour w/safe still not repaired.

We in general liked the resort. It is beautiful-lots of palm trees, blooming flowers. The pools are nicely maintained. The beach is lovely. The ocean is clean and water temperature is great. Food could be better. We ate well but felt the quality is a little lacking.

We enjoyed our first visit here. Fun pool, plenty of entertainment, and generally decent clientele at the resort. Many workers, but service definitely could be improved in the restaurants, bars etc. Having to request drinks multiple times is not the best experience. The booking experience for restaurants is absurd. It’s 2025. Let people book online. Also, did not like the checkout experience at all. Very pushy to give this review, even coming around the desk and trying to get me to open my email and do it there in front of them. I would imagine majority of people do that as it’s an uncomfortable experience.

Best thing about the resort was guest services, they have your back, shout out to Mariana! She approached us to ask us about our stay and when we said we were disappointed at the steak house and the Brazilian service, she made some calls and the service excelled! I left my headphones in my room at check out and she got them back for me and sent on her day off to my friend that lives in the DR, so they could get to me, above and beyond! We will come back because of her service! Best a la carte is the Japanese, great food and a show, loved it! Thank you Frenchy! . Our room was a family suite in building 36 and it was the perfect location for the lobby and the beach/pool. The cleaning staff took good care of us everyday (we tipped each day). This resort makes sure you have large bottles of water (3 each day). The beach is stunning, white sand and clear beautiful water. You can snorkel right off the beach by the rocks and you will see schools of fish, amazing! You had to get up early to get chairs around the pool and at the beach. The drinks were good and cold! The bar staff very friendly, remember to tip, they really appreciate it! The buffets, first of all I never go to an all inclusive for the fine dining, its just not a thing. The food was ok. Service was slow. Waterpark was great, kids and adults had a blast! Need more seating at the park. Shuttle drivers to the park were great, tip them too! Evening shows are well done, amazing performers! Thank you!

I had a very mixed experience with this property, and was debating whether to give 3 stars or 4 stars. The final check-out process was very inappropriate, which sealed the 3 star rating. The hotel itself, the pools, and the beach are beautiful. However, the hotel is managed poorly from a resources, staffing and details standpoint. Problems encountered REGULARLY: No plates at the buffets. No cups or bowls frequently at the buffets. Out of silverware/utensils at lunch buffet near pool. Left us 1 washcloth (face cloth) for 5 people in our room. On one of the days, left only 2 bath towels. Several times ALL toilet stalls at the beach bathroom NO toilet paper. One bartender and long lines for drinks. Understaffed in general. At check-in (5pm) our room wasn't ready and we had to wait 45 mins in the lobby after a long travel day with kids. Expedia sent a survey asking how check-in went, and I gave a mediocre review on the survey. I was later contacted by the hotel who was irritated by my survey response. At check-out, the agent asked for my personal phone to check for a "survey". I watched as he searched my phone for that prior check-in survey, he then selected 5 stars, and handed me the phone and told me to finish the survey in front of him and that they "needed to take a picture of my completed survey for Expedia to complete check-out". This obviously is not needed, and it was completely inappropriate for him to select 5 stars before handing me my phone. UNACCEPTABLE.

We really loved the experience, especially the private customer service from the entire staff (Expedia and hotel personnel); however, we didn’t like that there was elevator to go the third floor and the a/c was not functioning properly.
