We in general liked the resort. It is beautiful-lots of palm trees, blooming flowers. The pools are nicely maintained. The beach is lovely. The ocean is clean and water temperature is great. Food could be better. We ate well but felt the quality is a little lacking.

Good stay for our family

We enjoyed our first visit here. Fun pool, plenty of entertainment, and generally decent clientele at the resort. Many workers, but service definitely could be improved in the restaurants, bars etc. Having to request drinks multiple times is not the best experience. The booking experience for restaurants is absurd. It’s 2025. Let people book online. Also, did not like the checkout experience at all. Very pushy to give this review, even coming around the desk and trying to get me to open my email and do it there in front of them. I would imagine majority of people do that as it’s an uncomfortable experience.

Room- Good. Generally clean, BUT you can tell that they don’t clean on certain areas, such as the ceiling fans and under the bed ( we saw items from previous tourists under the bed!) ceiling fans are very dirty. Buffet Service- Slow. Tables and chairs are often dirty when you seat down. You often have to ask for things that should have been there already. Spoons, coffee cups, cutlery…etc. No staff stood out for us, we tipped accordingly. Food- Buffet- Good, some choices are better than others and I noticed some items are very dry. I should mention that some food is cold! Some are left without heat, so it gets cold fast! Food- A la carte restaurants- Excellent! We specifically loved the Italian and French! Service was also great! Don’t skip on booking the restaurants! Pool- Good. We enjoyed it. The lounge chairs are dirty. Full of bird poop, you can tell that they don’t clean it. Beach- Great! We loved hanging out by the beach. The beach chairs though are dated, some are broken and loose. Bars- Generally Slow. Long line up, specially by the Pool, big bar by the beach, and the Lobby bar. Spa- Great service! Outdated facility. Gym- Great! Enough for a good workout! Grounds and Maintenance- Excellent! Our toilet clogged and maintenance came fast to fix it! The Gardens are beautiful! Concierge- Great! Fast and helpful. We Loved Alejandra! She’s lovely. Also-David from Expedia. He was very helpful. Bathrooms-are a bit dirty, a lot of the time clogged!

In its prime, with good service, this place would have been great. The property is very large and the gardens and vegetation are beautiful. That’s about where it stops. 1. The pool reeked of piss. It was clear that everyone was just hanging out in there all day without ever visiting the bathroom. There was only one restroom at that end of the resort and it was not convenient to visit. 2. The service (except our concierge) was terrible. The lines for the bars were long, the bartenders slow and unfriendly. The service in the buffets was similar, often seating us at dirty tables with dirty cutlery and stained chairs. The server would ask if you wanted coffee in the morning and if you were lucky they would arrive at the end of the meal if at all. 3. Cleanliness: the ceiling fans were caked in black funk, there is a lot of garbage around the resort and in the bushes, at the beach that doesn’t get picked up. Broken balloons everywhere on the beach, along with other garbage. The food was decent, but other than that I would try for somewhere else.

We loved this property, BUT.... when checking in, Mr. CARLOS from Expedia front desk made us sign a paper because of not having what we booked.. or supposedly an upgrade at no cost, but We got what we paid for. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY CONTINUE ALLOWING THIS UNCOMFORTABLE MOMENT...and I sensed a little attitude because I was questioning. My wife and I had 2 days of no trust at all in the staffs. Please, Expedia... don't allow this anymore, so tourist don't get scare!! I felt a little more oriented with David.with rooms and going around.
