Tres bon hotel dans un ecrin de verdure

L hotel est tres bien situe, a quelques pas de Chefchaouen, dans un ecrin de verdure. La chambre est tres jolie. Le petit déjeuner etait ok mais il manquait le jus d orange presse

The resort still under construction dust everywhere the spa is not ready to use, we book the rest for spa but when we reach they apologize and told us is not ready yet

The rooms are nice, but if you are travelling there in the off season like we did, please note that they don’t seem fully ready to receive guests. The heat wasn’t working and while they tried their best to accommodate this, it still was a small issue. There was also no wifi as advertised.

Un cadre prometteur, mais un séjour décevant

Hôtel globalement mal entretenu : mobilier vieillissant, coupures d’eau, piscines ressemblant à des bassins sans traitement. Petit déjeuner très limité, kiosque aux prix excessifs. Aucune activité ni animation proposées. Points positifs : très bon emplacement, calme en pleine montagne, et un personnel vraiment sympathique.

Overpriced 3*

We stayed here out of season, early April Firstly the staff, as always in Morocco are so friendly and go out of their way to help you with anything. The location of the apartments are idyllic, the scenery of the mountains and neighbouring Chefchaouen is stunning. However we were not entirely happy with our stay as we were given a room with no working air con, when we asked for some heaters we were given 1 broken one. It was extremely cold in the night. We were offered to move to another room the next day but as we were only staying 1 more night it seemed pointless moving all our bags. The breakfast buffet was ok but not much hot food options and some things were cold. We purchased 2 bottles of chocolate milk for the kids and couldnt believe when they charged us almost £5, when we questioned why so much they said because they have to bring it from far. Its 15 mins to Chefchaouen town. It seems they are a 3* accommodation trying to charge 5* prices which when out of season and no other facilities available is quite bad.

We had a fantastic stay at Resort Hotel El Cortijo. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was a highlight, with a great variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
