This property was beautiful!l, we loved the pools! We were checking in with two friends whom also had booked this hotel post cruise. They were treated VERY differently upon check in than we were, clearly the hotel prefers direct bookings over Expedia bookings. Aside from that, it was a wonderful experience.

Not value for money.. when I pay nearly £400 a night I don’t expect a room still the same from the 80s and no access to an indoor pool in a 5 * hotel .. the doors were old the tiling was old they still had an old fashioned hair dryer from the 80s stuck to the bathroom wall .. seriously

Property is beautiful. Front desk personnel are very good. Breakfast was very good. My major complaint is that service at breakfast for coffee or to get lunch at the poolside cafe was very poor. I waited 20 mins for my coffee 2x during my stay. I waited 20 mins for someone to come over to my table at lunch time by poolside cafe. My room was not cleaned very well. They left dirty glasses of wine for days. Finally the beach needs to be cleaned better. A lot of seaweed. They don’t start cleaning until 9am. Someone should be cleaning the beach at 7am every morning. Amazing hotel but needs better service

Decent hotel, but let’s be honest—it’s a 5-star only by Greek standards. Anywhere else, it’d barely scrape a 3 or 4. Locals rave about it, and while it does have a nice new gym, a decent indoor spa, and mostly friendly staff, the experience overall feels more average than exceptional. The rooms, while comfortable, are a bit dated and could use a refresh. The two swimming pools and private beach are pleasant and probably the main highlights here. Step outside, though, and the area feels quiet and somewhat lacking in atmosphere. A couple of restaurants are within walking distance, but don’t expect a lively promenade with endless shops and bars like Marbella—it’s more ‘quiet suburb’ than luxury hotspot. And because of its ‘high-profile’ reputation, the nightly entertainment outside the entrance is… let’s just say colorful. Escorts lining up by the main door (and sometimes the church next door) give the place a vibe you won’t find in the brochure. Worth the steep price tag? Not really. But if you’ve got cash to burn and don’t mind paying champagne prices for beer-level luxury, book it—just keep your 5-star expectations firmly in check.
