What I liked about the property it is beautiful, the food was good and the staff were friendly and polite. The cushions on the sofa in my ocean front room were dirty, the sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom was broken and my $200+ in souvenirs were thrown away. Since I had valuable items that were present and not taken, I believe this was an act of carelessness. The resort’s remedy, which I reluctantly accepted, was to give me a $200 credit to its shops. I purchased T-shirts off property @ 3 for $19.99 versus $25 each at the resort. I paid $100 for a bottle of Hennessy on property versus $59 at the airport. Since I wasn’t made whole monetarily and security insulted my intelligence by insinuating that I may have left my bags somewhere else, I’m leaving TWO stars versus the FOUR stars I had planned to leave.
