Stop Over in Istanbul
The room was clean. It was small, but the room I stayed in had no windows, and I am claustrophobic. There is no panel to control the heat, so during the night it was unbearably hot and no way to turn the heat down. We could not sleep. There was construction next and we could hear jack hammering until 10 pm at night. Location is ideal, just a few minutes walk from the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, and Hagi Sophia.

was an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful with everything we needed. The place was very clean, and the location was perfect. Although we had a rental car, we didn’t use it much because the hotel was close to all the main historical attractions, including famous mosques, markets, and bazaars. If you want to visit other areas like Taksim, it’s only a 15-minute drive. The area was lively and full of tourists. A small tip: avoid the restaurants very close to the hotel, as many of them seemed to overcharge tourists.

This is a difficult review to write. Mitspark is a lovely small hotel. This was my first time in Istanbul. For convenience, I chose to have the hotel book my ride from and to the airport even though it cost more than a cab. When I left the hotel on the night of my departure at 11:30pm for the airport, I dozed in the back and jumped out when we arrived. Then I discovered that the driver had taken me to the wrong airport! By the time I got to the right one, my flight had left and I was charged $2000.00 to get on the same flight 24 hours later. The hotel dealt with the car company but there has been no resolution for several weeks even though I have sent complete documentation of the charge. I feel it was the hotel's responsibility to reimburse me since they arranged the transportation.

Good location very close to tourist destinations. Staff was excellent. They took care of us very well. You won’t believe the service. The hotel is a small boutique hotel. The building is only a few months old and very modern. The quarters are a little smaller than Americans are used to. The staff stored our luggage as there wasn’t room for it in the room. They made reservations for us to take numerous tours. There’s a very good locals restaurant next door and dozens of restaurants within a 2-3 block radius. It’s only 3 blocks to the Blue Mosque.

This property us in the old Sultanahamet area. It a small intimate hotel with cozy clean rooms which are standard in this area. The location is fabulous for exploring the city. We walked everywhere safety. Mert the manager and other staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Highly recommend this hotel.

This property was smaller than we expected, however if you are going to Istanbul to rest your head somewhere clean, with friendly staff and you want to support a local business then this is your place. It is in very close walking distance to Topkapi, Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque. It is also very close to lots of shops and restaurants, the grand bazaar and the spice market. You can catch a ferry or do what we did and walk over the bridge and take in all Istanbul has to offer to Beyoğlu which is more like the Oxford street of Istanbul where you will find lots of high street shops, the Galata Tower and Hampstead style areas. I believe the hotel is family run so they are very keen to ensure your stay is a satisfying one, always happy to help with any questions. I would recommend and definitely be returning to Istanbul
