From hotel pickup at the airport you are going to have an enjoyable, safe and relaxing journey even it is your 1st time to India. F&B Mr. Chethan, Mr. Raghav and Mr. Satya did excellent job providing different kinds of recommendations from lists of cuisines, hotel events and local festival. Chef Mr. Chirag and Ms. Jasmine providing tailor made dishes from street food to fine food and wine. Housekeeper Mr Saikiran was also very polite and kind. Last but not least Guru Prasad who drove me to the airport shared a local story of name of Bengaluru, "The boiling beans city" Thank you all for my memorable experience.

Every thing is great except outdated phones hard to push room dividers and shower situation needs to be fixed leaking water into outside the shower door
Their buffet staff are very good and helpful

The hotel room was nice and very clean. I stayed here with two friends and booked a suite, which included breakfast. The three of us checked in with our passports and IDs, which took a while. They put our luggage through a bag scanner and then separately scanned our bodies individually. This whole process took longer than airport security.
The next morning I went down to breakfast alone while my two friends were getting ready. While I was having coffee, the manager at the restaurant came over and told me that he overheard I ask for a table for 3. I said “yes, the other guests in my suite will be joining shortly.” He then told me I had to leave the restaurant because I had unregistered guests.
I was very upset, and immediately spoke to the front desk who said that the restaurant manager had just made a mistake. They were very apologetic, but it really ruined the experience at this hotel for me. I think for the cost of the hotel, you could find better service in Bangalore.

At first glance the property and room looks great. However once you spend time at the hotel and in your room you start to notice that the property is dated and in need of major refurbishment.
Bathroom are have not been cleaned well over the years and it shows.
On both days, the bath towels felt damp to the touch which is a horrible feeling when you want to dry off after a shower.
Rooms also are just cleaned on the surface and not properly cleaned over the years.
Kettle was unclean outside and inside.
Phones were filthy.
The hotel has a free Happy Hour where drinks and nibbles are served. This is crowded and the behaviour of guests rushing the bar for drinks and free food is appalling. The hotel needs to figure out a way to control this.
Breakfast buffet is okay thankfully.
Staff are very kind and helpful.
Very poor experience. Thankfully only stayed 2 nights. Will never book at an ITC property again.

5* hotel which can be better
This hotel is very nice. Definitely worth the 5*. Most of the staff at the hotel are really welcoming, nice and knowledgeable. Majority of them will go the extra mile to make your stay at the hotel really comfortable. Rohit who works at reception is exceptional. He is such a great employee and every morning he took time out to greet me, shake my hand and ask how I am and if I have any issues/questions. He provides top quality service and he is the reason why ITC Gardenia should be rated 5* purely down to his hard work. The room is lovely and big. Everything about the room is fine, bed, shower etc etc. the restaurants in the hotel are great and at good price and the canapés from 18:00 - 20:00 is a great idea. This hotel is very close to local attractions. The only thing I don’t like about the hotel is few staff members who work at the spa/gym. They aren’t helpful and feel like they are watching what I do. The spa is not recommended. I had a facial done and it did not last the allocated time and generally I don’t feel it was good. I had 20% discount and with them knowing that, I feel they just gave me the most expensive treatment to cover that discount. If Rohit is the honest member of staff, the staff at the gym/spa ruin it.
I would stay at this hotel again and again but will for sure not make the same mistakes of using the gym/spa.
