以为是网上已经直接交好钱了谁知道要到店再交，，所以为这个事处理了半天，，不过还好最后入住了，前台人很友好，，晚上有个小酒吧，订房了的话喝东西还可以打折挺不错的。。房间的上下铺很晃，稍微动一下就会响

Acesso fácil de e para o aeroporto. Uma pequena caminhada até o centro, várias opções de comércios e restaurantes muito próximos. A cozinha comunitária está em mau estado, e não tem utensílios como pratos e copos. Colchão não muito confortável. O banheiro do dormitório feminino onde fiquei é excelente. Não há elevador, então subir com muitas malas pode ser um problema. O atendimento do Pepe é extraordinário. Solicitei mudança do dormitório misto qye reservei e ele prontamente me ajudou em tudo. Todas as questões/dúvidas que levei a ele, foram sanadas/respondidas. No geral: recomendo.

Stayed for 3 nights in the all-women room. Everything was clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. If I could suggest a few improvements, it would be to add some extra shelving in the bathroom, a full-length mirror, and shelving or a hanging area/locker space in the bedroom itself.

Das Personal war super nett und war stehts bemüht mich bei Planungen und Aktivitäten zu unterstützen. Leoder war das Hostel aktuell im Umbau von daher war nicht alles wie sonst verwendbar aber das war nicht weiter störend. Die Lage war besonders bemerkenswerd, denn wirklich ganz Edinburg war zu Fuß erreichbar. Alles in allem kann ich die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehen. Es war sauber, zentral, ruhig, super nett und einfach sicher.

Cleaner and night staff are lovely.

They are renovating, which you are told by a note stuck on the wall. They have exposed wires, no mirrors, boxes with toilets sitting in bathrooms waiting to be installed, no locks on shower door, plug at bed not charging. The radiator on the top floor room is broken and is on all the time so that with the skylight heat, its way too hot. They charge £10 to move beds however given the heat, they let me move for no charge. I think he just couldnt be bothered arguing as hostel wasnt full. They also told us they were having an exterminator spray all the beds as there was complaints about bed bugs. They should close the hostel for a week to get everything fixed, cleaned, de-bugged and sorted as the standard is very poor in this transition period.

This was my fourth stay at the West End, and as usual I was very happy with the service and cleanliness. The manager, Lucas, was very helpful and welcoming, and I am sure that I'll be returning because I have tried nearly all budget accomodations in Edinburgh and find that this one offers the best value. Anyone who uses hostels knows that part of the experience is determined by the people who happen to be there as well, but at this place there is a very nice bar and a kitchen for guest use, so no need to spend all of your time in the room itself. The location is ideal: very close to the Leith walkway and the two Modern Art Galleries. If you are travelling light, it is possible to walk to the West End from Waverly, enjoying the beauty of Edinburgh all along the way!

The room wasn't like showed on the pictures, no lockers inside, not the cleanest too. But luckily the staff was very nice and accommodating. It also was really hot because the heating was broken so overall not the best.

Lockers for your bags under the bed would go a long way cause it’s not like there’s anywhere to put your bags on the floor either. Plus, the pillows weren’t actual pillows but rather pouches filled with something squishy and the sheet on my bed were ripped at the top. The staff tho are absolute angels, I would give each one of them a million out of ten if I could. So nice, so willing to help. Over all, you get what you pay for. For the price and the location, it wasn’t that bad overall.
