We wanted to have dinner while the hotel restaurant just closed, so we asked the restaurant if we've got any alternatives. The restaurant ppl mentioned some place might still be open and suggested us double check with the reception. So comes this female staff told us immediately that everything in town were closed, since their restaurant is the one closes the latest. I suggested her to check one of the restaurants whose little ad label is on a map on their reception desk, since it says they open till late. The female staff called, and she asked if their kitchen was closed, and then she asked when, then hung up and told us, "their kitchen is closed". From the way she talks, I thought there's something she might not have told us, so I walked away and called again myself. The restaurant told me their kitchen is indeed closed, but they do have a late menu which serves pork ribs, lamb shank, salad, fries and stuff till they close. So we went. And I told the reception girl when we passed by that they had a late menu, and she acted like she didn't know about it. We had a good dinner there and I double checked with the waitress who picked up the phone call from the hotel earlier if she told the hotel that they had a late menu, and she confirmed she did. I am just very confused why this reception girl only told us half truth which the other half would serve our need just fine, since their restaurant is closed anyway...very disappointed.
