Do Not Stay Here

Do not stay at this hotel. We arrived late and my daughter and I did not feel comfortable. There were multiple people loitering around. We had to step around vomit to get out of our car. There was no way to lock our room securely from the inside. The slider glass door on the balcony on the ground level was broken and anyone could get in with little effort. There were holes in the walls and doors. there was mold on the ceiling. There were bugs on the walls. There was hair from previous guests on the bed. The finish on the tub was flaking apart and the toilet seat was unattached. All in all this was terrible. My daughter and I left after 30 minutes. We went to the office to discuss and the door was locked. We called and no one answered we had booked for two nights and were reimbursed for one.

This not it

I did not feel safe in the environment. The room reeked of smoke. The mattress was not comfortable. The room was not up to par clean, crumbs all over the place. I did not feel comfortable sleeping in those conditions and ended up sleeping somewhere else.

Room 1: gagging smell of pin sol (can see my foot prints on the thick layer), toilet didn’t flush Room 2: eye burning smell of pin sol, tried to turn the tv on, hdmi cord was unplugged so I tried to plug it in, it sparked, went down and told the owner (sweet lady) but English is not her first language she said she would send her house keeper..he brought another hdmi cord and it did the same thing and sparked but this time it threw the breaker so he plugged it in..I sat down and poured a glass of whiskey at this point cause I already knew what was going to happen he’s on the phone with the owner telling her to flip the breaker and low and behold the back of the tv starts shooting sparks. My wife’s screaming at him to unplug it..he stands there flabbergasted so I had to put my damn drink down and go unplug this cord before the whole hotel burnt down Oh you thought I was done? Room 3 we got upgraded to a room with a balcony, thank god cause the pinsol smell was at “eye watering” level but we just wanted to sleep..I ended up having to completely hook the tv up (so I could watch the new episode of swamp people) we left the balcony door open in hopes the room would air out and went to sleep. My wife and I both woke up at 1 am and were gagging on the pinsol (we could taste it and smell it stuck in our faces for half the day after) this is with the balcony door open in 20 degree weather..we thought oh a hot shower might clear this smell out our faces…nope no hot water..etc

THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED IN…. No hot water, toilet clogs everytime you use it (even to piss), says parking is included yet I had to park in a field next to a homeless camp, paid for a balcony over the lake had to have my room switched to get it, “clean” towels are left outside in an uncovered trash bin over night, beer cans all over the parking lot, found 5 nails in the parking lot, locks are broken on the doors, microwave had food in it and had to be cleaned out, non smoking yet room smelled like smoke,no toilet paper in the room, outlets didn’t work, light was blown out and had to be changed, people riding bikes on the second floor of the hotel, soap and shampoo dispensers don’t work so they leave an open bottle of shampoo in the shower, mentioned all this to Sandy the front desk guy and he offered a free night stay, I said I couldn’t and he said call Expedia for a full refund and then his beyond rude wife gave us only $45 back….

It’s what you would expect from a road side motel. Walls are thin. We heard the person beside us snore all night, smelled clean when we arrived, beds were really hard and AC struggled to work til the sun went down. Food was left in the fridge from the previous person and fridge was turned off. Not amazing but not horrible.
