Très bien dans l’ensemble
Tout dépend de votre attente. Hôtel très bien placé mais malheureusement les nuisances des bars à côté gênent le repos après les longues randonnées. Propre et bien entretenu. Le petit déjeuner est excellent

Is worth paying more in another hotel
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Dirty cleans, dirty wall, dirty bathroom, the room is so small that if you bring more that one carry on, you would have to open the door in order to be able to open the second suitcase. Or put the suitcases on your bed.

Zarco guest house was wonderful. Rooms are small (not suitable for large people/luggage) to move around in and nicely appointed. Great location near to everything: siteseeing, restaurants, ocean, shopping and lovely squares. Breakfast was delicious with many options including fresh fruit and pasteries. Highly recommend.

The feedback pertains only to the room I spent my week in: it is located on the first floor, directly above the hall. At every single hour of day and night the noise coming from the hall is terrifying: the other customers, the sounds coming from the kitchen (even at 2 AM) but, mainly the screams of the people working there. The room is very little but clean enough. The last day they denied me the possibility to have breakfast (already paid) because the evening personnel wrongly noted that I will be leaving at 3 AM: the error absolutely not depending on me. I recommend to find something else but, if nothing else is available, it can be a solution.

L’hotel est idéalement situé à proximité d’activités touristiques (marché, téléférique, bord de l’eau). Le déjeuner était bon. Par contre, nous avons été relocalisé à leur autre hotel en raison d’un problème technique. Nous étions donc à 10 minutes de marche plus loin du centre, mais devions retourner au Zarco pour les déjeuners, sans possibilité de faire différemment. Nous avions choisi le Zarco initialement pour sa localisation et les déjeuners. C’était donc un inconvénient pour nous d’être relocalisé. Le personnel n’a jamais répondu à nos messages pour voir la possibilité d’une accommodation dans ce contexte. Autrement, tout était bien.

B&B nel centro di Funchal, comodo se non hai la macchina perché altrimenti è impossibile trovare parcheggio e si spendono un sacco di soldi. Camera normale ma bagno piccolissimo, una finestra in camera che dava sulla sala colazioni quindi senza ricircolo d'aria, dava la sensazione di mancanza d'aria perché non entrava da nessuna parte. Bagno non pulitissimo,sporco il telefono della doccia sulla maniglia,e a terra negli angoli. Camera più pulita del bagno, con un piccolo armadio a muro e lenzuola un po' ingiallite. La camera essendo appunto interna non era silenziosa, essendo sopra la sala colazioni mentre preparavano e quando la sala apriva iniziava il caos, impossibile poi dormire. Il ragazzo che ci accolto gentile e disponibile,per il resto come se non ci fossero

Cute little B&B conveniently located in the centre of Funchal close to all amenities. Bright property and super clean. Good breakfast. Great staff. Carla from reception was amazing. Very helpful! Just a tad noisy at times, as there is a coffee shop opposite in the square . But all in all, a great place to stay fot a few days
