Very clean, very quiet, staff is all smiles, joke with you and are all friendly. WONDERFUL breakfast! My big thing at all places i stay for work that is a make or break for me is "is the bed soft and comfortable"? And YES the bed was VERY comfortable. All amenities of home on a smaller but very spacious comfortable size suite. This will be my new place to stay for work when i come to the area.

The hot water from the bathtub and sink faucets was too hot. No cold water came out regardless of whether I turned the faucet to the right or left, forcing me to shower with dangerously hot water. I request improvement. The pillowcases on the bed linens were permeated with someone else’s smell. I woke up in the middle of the night because of the odor, which was so disturbing that it even gave me nightmares. Overall, I think the cleanliness of the room was well-maintained.

I have stayed at a lot of different hotels from 2-star to 5-star and this hotel is definitely an average 3-star hotel. It had high ratings for being clean, but I found it to be a little dated, and not as clean as I had hoped. The mini lotion bottle in the room had been used and was half-full. The tiles in the bathroom either needed to be deep cleaned or were stained. Breakfast buffet was good and a typical free breakfast at a hotel. There didn't seem to be a lot of high rated hotels under $200, so for the price, I think it was okay and would probably stay again.

The breakfast upset my stomach. My son barely ate the breakfast because it didn’t taste great. I don’t like wasting food so I forced myself to eat it. The room was clean and comfortable but I didn’t expect it to be so small. It was enough room for my son & I. But it wouldn’t have been big enough for more than 2 people.

Very comfortable beds, very clean, all kitchen amenities in place, easy check in, easy check out. Room AC worked great (was a concern of mine staying at other places that it never got cold enough) so that was a huge plus!! Only suggestion would be a trash can in kitchen area. There was a small trashcan by the desk that was like a 5 gallon trash can. I dint take advantage of the breakfast because I needed to leave for work at 6a and breakfast was at 630a but my husband went and said it was very nice. Wifi-was fast, which is another plus for me to work in evenings on computer. I work in the area multiple times a month and will definitely stay again. Staff was always smiling and helpful :) Thanks for a great experience!

I have lived in Louisiana for ten years in the NOLA area. This was my first time to Baton Rouge to watch LSU versus Arkanas. The Tigers lost 7-4, but it was a good game. The fans were very nice. I love the atmosphere The baseball stadium is about half a mile away. Everbody walks to the game. I just followed the fans. I will come back to watch college baseball in Baton Rouge again. Maybe i will catch some football games. The room is big and very nice. I like the refrigerator, micro wave and kitchen area. The bed is very comfortable to sleep in. I like the sofa and desk area. I would return to Sonesta ES Suites again.

We stayed at this hotel in Baton Rouge to goto an LSU baseball game. It is literally a couple minute car ride from the baseball and football stadiums. Staff was very nice, and the breakfast was really good. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I now understand why this place has such good ratings. The staff is really nice and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and the bed was so so comfortable. It is very close to the Lsu campus as well. Stay here if you can!

Over all the property was fine. Our last day there we did not have water for almost 12hrs. Couldn't shower or flush toilets. Very unsanitary conditions, we didn't get any notifications or updates.

Staff were excellent, from the front desk to the kitchen, housekeeping, and management! The only thing we didn't like was the breakfast; it was nothing special. However, the room and staff were exceptional!
