We reserved two rooms for four adults and two children. At check-in, we were initially asked to pay city taxes for the children as well. When I pointed out that, according to local regulations, children below a certain age are exempt, the representative acknowledged the mistake and corrected it. While I appreciate the correction, I would expect staff at a well-established hotel chain to be fully aware of such rules—especially when dealing with international guests.
Additionally, I requested slippers upon noticing they were missing from our room. I was told by the front desk that slippers were not available, only to find out the next morning that my sisters had them in their room. This inconsistency was disappointing.
Lastly, I found the parking fee to be quite high compared to similar properties.
Overall, our stay was okay, but given the reputation of the brand, I expected a higher level of service and consistency.
