We only stayed until 3am to hike Sherman. However, the room smelled like sewer gas. We opened the window and turned on the fan and that helped. Staff was great and everything else was awesome.

Stayed 2 nights. The first night was not good, my room was very very hot(they do not have AC) and I barely slept. Maxine put me in a different room the next morning and it was so much better! All the staff was very pleasant and super accommodating.

The breakfast was very good and the staff were so inviting and friendly! This hotel has so much charm I would recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay in FairPlay. I’ve stayed here 3 times and every single time was enjoyable! Lots of books to read by the fire place on cold winter nights

We like older hotels with eccentric nostalgia . The bed was comfortable, we liked no TV, the old pictures, the stairs and creaking hall way. The view from the restaurant was outstanding as the breakfast sandwich. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again. If you want a pool and weight room etc go to Denver.

Staff was great. This is an old classic hotel with a wood burning fireplace in the lobby. Room was decorated nicely with some old furniture. Great location. Can walk to everything in Fairplay

Great historic hotel. Bed was super comfy. Thermostat is shared for three rooms. Ours was a bit chilly but plenty of comfortable bedding kept us warm and slept great.

Paid for hotel through Expedia. The day after I checked out the hotel made a charge to my credit card for over $300.00. They never contacted me about why I was receiving this charge. I made multiple calls to the hotel and they refused to return my calls. Stay away.
