Although there were some issues on the first day that required me to stay at another nearby hotel for one night, the problems were later resolved. The hotel had excellent renovations, and the staff were very friendly. It was located very close to the attractions, with convenient transportation, and there were also many restaurants around.

Pontos positivos - A calefação funcionou muito bem. - O hotel possui instalações em excelentes condições de conservação. - O chuveiro é excelente e havia água quente abundante. - As camas são confortáveis. - As roupas de cama e os travesseiros são de muito boa qualidade. - A iluminação do quarto é muito boa. - O banheiro é muito bom. - O blackout da cortina da janela foi muito eficiente, impedindo que a luz do dia penetrasse no quarto pela manhã. - O café da manhã é bom. - O frigobar funcionou muito bem. - O pessoal do hotel é muito simpático e te trata muito bem. Pontos negativos - Na primeira noite houve um enorme alagamento do piso de todo o banheiro, devido ao entupimento do ralo do box do banheiro, o que restringiu o nosso banho. Após aguardarmos por uma solução, ficou acertado que mudaríamos de quarto no dia seguinte, pois não havia disponibilidade para aquele momento. Essa ocorrência fez que com que fossemos dormir bem tarde naquela noite e atrapalhou a nossa programação do dia seguinte, ainda mais porque perdemos mais tempo esperando para trocar o quarto. - O box do banheiro é muito apertado, dificultando o banho. - Vaza um pouco de água do box do banheiro para o piso do restante do banheiro. - As toalhas estão muito velhas e ásperas, precisando urgentemente de serem substituídas. - A Internet do hotel disponibilizada para os hóspedes é ruim.

Close to everything. Egyption museum is on a walking distance. Great dining options around specially Kazaz restaurant, where locals eat. Breakfast menu is limited and can be improved. House keeping can also be improved. Fantastic people, very friendly and always willing to help.

Beautiful small hotel in the center of it all. Breakfast was WONDERFUL. Excellent, plentiful spread and huge variety. The dining area is very nice, plus there's seating on the balcony overlooking the beautiful city buildings. Rooms are very nice and clean and definitely a bit of luxury especially when compared to other hotels in the region at this price point. The location was perfect to enjoy the downtown Cairo sites and nearby museums. The hotel was on a quieter street so the traffic noise was minimal, there was only noise from distant streets, but minimal. This is a huge perk when staying in.the busy downtown district!! All of the staff members were professional and very polite. We would definitely return to this hotel. Thanks goes out to the wonderful people working at the hotel who maintained a nice atmosphere and top notch service!! We had a wonderful stay.

Die Unterkunft ist in Ordnung. Das Personal ist super lieb und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war nicht ganz sauber, vorallem der Boden. Das Bett war leider sehr ungemütlich. Aber das Personal war sehr nett und hat versucht jedes Anliegen zu lösen.

Eileen Hotel is a lovely styled hotel that is well decorated with very nice Air Conditioning. The area was safe and the front entrance staff was very helpful and nice. If you require transport to and from the hotel, it's quick and easy, but if you're alone, be aware that the drivers seem to be third party contractors.

The Eileen Hotel is truly a gem in the middle of Cairo. It's in a historic building and the owners are taking care to restore in accordance with its history. But what makes the Eileen so very special are the people who work there. They are so warm, welcoming, and helpful. You feel like a family friend. The breakfast is included and offers a nice variety of options, including fresh fruit, which was important to me! The hotel is on the 6th floor of the building, which has an elevator. One thing to be aware of is there are some steps up to the building itself.
