Safe and amazing as a woman travelling solo
Amazing location, only a couple of steps away from the coliseum, very centre. As a young woman travelling alone i felt safe at all times both in the hotel and in the area. Great little old school lift in the hotel aswell i loved that, great room, just overall an amazing experience will be staying there again if i return

I highly recommend Hotel Paba. It’s in an excellent central location, 5 minute walk from the Colosseum. The property is a boutique hotel that is very clean and wonderfully quiet. Our room had a Queen bed and a twin rollaway bed, with a small attached room that had a twin bed and a private fully equipped bathroom. The front staff is EXCEPTIONAL. I communicated a few times before our party arrived and then again when we got to Rome, they were highly responsive and so friendly. They held our luggage for us. I would definitely stay again!

Great stay in Ancient Rome
The receptionist was exceptionally kind and helpful, making suggestions for places to eat, offering us a free map to attractions, and giving a thorough tour of the room and features. The location is superb to Ancient Rome. The room had high ceilings and was surprisingly spacious. The only thing we would have liked is a mattress topper and softer pillows; the mattress was firm. Don’t miss the chance to use the charming old time elevator!

Hotel Paba was nice. The location was great. The communications were clear, which was especially helpful when arriving late and nobody was there. Typical small European rooms. Very clean. Our only complaint would be mattress an pillows. However, theirs were not much different that other places we stayed. Overall I would definitely recommend.

This is definitely one of the most recommended hotel in Rome! We were a family with older children and we love it! The staff was friendly and we felt welcome. You can even walk to see the Colosseum every time as you like by just walking up a short path. 😀

This was our first stop in Italy and we were surprised to see the entry and that it was on the second floor of an older building. The pictures online for a quadruple room are incorrect. It is one primary room with a king bed and twin bed beside and then another twin bed set just outside the washroom. A little disappointing. The staff were very nice though and provided a list of nearby restaurant recommendations. We loved the cafe across the street, very friendly and quick for breakfast! This location was excellent to walk to major attractions, everything in 10-20 min walk. The restaurants near the colosseum (5 min walk) had the best aperitivo!
