Skip the food
Property is definitely ready for a remodel. The tile is coming off the pool, rails are rusted through and the rooms show signs of being well used. Food was awful, we ended up eating dinner out almost every night of our trip after we tried all meal options and determined it was not worth sticking around for.

This hotel is adequate but needs quite a few upgrades. The staff is excellent, very accommodating, and friendly. The location is good. The food is mediocre but we are not foodies so this did not matter to us. I left a pair of sandals by the pool which unfortunately was not turned into lost and found. This was a little disappointing. It would be nice if there were a couple of drinks in the fridge and if they replenished the coffee in the room.

Room was right over pool. Constant loud techno music coming from the pool bar. Asked to change rooms, and were told the only available option would also have loud music until 10pm. The balcony door would not latch or even seal. Mosquitos were coming in through the gap. Room was dirty. Visible grime on the bedside lamp. Dead mosquitos smashed on wall and in soap dish. Also bed had the hardest mattress I’ve ever felt. We checked out 2 hours after arriving, and went to another resort. So glad we made the change. Staff was nice at least.

Location was good except for construction on both sides of the property until 0100 hours one night. The access to the whole area was not good for anyone with limited mobility - many stairs and convoluted hallways. The room we had lacked privacy in the bathroom. There was only one restaurant open for all meals, and not a lot of variety, and another restaurant open part of the week for which we had to book. The staff were great, which was the saving factor - Carmen, Guadalupe, Oscar and Fatima in the dining room and Juan and Jesus in the pool bar, and the person leading dancing and karaoke. Overall we loved meeting new people, swimming in clean pools and walking on the beach in the sun, so that makes everything else acceptable!

Nothing special, but just enough for a quick all inclusive trip. Conveniently close to the airport & shopping. Beach was rough, but a short Uber to Cabo San Lucas was nice for about $25.

We have been going to this property since 2008 and we love the small size of the resort. But not sure what has happened in the 2 year by the lobby or if you were in the pool since our last stay as itr seems to be slipping down. The grounds are still nice but not as mancured as they once was. You never knew which resturant was going to be opened for dinner. Even the staff didn't know. We were there for 6 nights and Luna was close every other night, for lunch you had to either go up to the buffet by the lobby or a bar where they served tacos, soup and small sandwiches the same thing every day. Staff told us that they have had 3 mangers in last 2 years and they will not listen to staff. The rooms are old but very clean and one could not ask for staff working there as they could not do enough for the guest.
